Joe Biden’s life is falling apart.
He could end up being ripped from the White House at this point.
And 130 military officials just turned on Joe Biden in an earth-shattering announcement.
Joe Biden failed about as badly as he could in Afghanistan.
The fall-out for his failure to execute an orderly withdrawal will be felt for years to come.
Not only did he hand some $80 billion in military equipment to the Taliban, he left Americans behind enemy lines without a plan to get them out.
Unsurprisingly, people – particularly those in the military who Biden and his top generals ignored – are furious.
And over 130 retired generals and admirals made that clear, calling for the resignation of Biden administration officials, including Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin and Joint Chiefs Chairman Gen. Mark Milley, for their “negligence in performing their duties primarily involving events surrounding the disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan.”
The letter, published by Flag Officers 4 America, argues that the military officials in question should have “recommended against this dangerous withdrawal in the strongest possible terms.”
If they had done so, the 13 U.S. Marines killed in a terrorist attack near the Kabul airport would still be alive.
“If they did not do everything within their authority to stop the hasty withdrawal, they should resign,” the letter goes on to read.
The letter states just how big of a failure Biden’s withdrawal was in one blistering paragraph:
“The consequences of this disaster are enormous and will reverberate for decades beginning with the safety of Americans and Afghans who are unable to move safely to evacuation points; therefore, being de facto hostages of the Taliban at this time. The death and torture of Afghans has already begun and will result in a human tragedy of major proportions. The loss of billions of dollars in advanced military equipment and supplies falling into the hands of our enemies is catastrophic.”
The point is concluded, stating that “the damage to the reputation of the United States is indescribable.”
They go on to call for resignations, stating: “For these reasons we call on the SECDEF Austin and the CJCS General Milley to resign,” stating that it would be a way for the military to meet their fundamental principle of “holding those in charge responsible and accountable for their actions or inactions.”
Probably the only thing missing in the letter is a call for Joe Biden himself to resign.
