Americans have a lot to complain about in Joe Biden’s 18-month Presidency.
But, potential 2024 opponent Ron DeSantis has a policy-by-policy checklist to send Biden to a not soon enough retirement.
Because he just obliterated Joe Biden in this head-to-head comparison.
Between runaway inflation, record-high gas prices, a plummeting stock market, lost wages, and disappearing savings – Americans have massive economic reasons to send Joe Biden packing in 2024.
Now, one of Biden’s potential 2024 opponents, Ron DeSantis, is telling the President exactly what he should have been doing to help American families.
Republican Governor Ron DeSantis of Florida torched President Joe Biden during remarks in a recent speech following the revelation of Biden’s latest threats in a letter to oil industry executives.
DeSantis told the crowd families in the United States would be better off if the Biden Administration would implement the policies he’s put into place in the Sunshine State.
“If you could give me a time machine to go back to January 20th, 2021, we would just do the opposite of what Biden has done, and we’d be in a better spot,” DeSantis told the crowd during a recent speech.
“America’s Governor” added the President has a lot of nerve blaming others for the failures of his administration.
“He’s got a lot of chutzpah to attack energy producers when he campaigned saying he was going to shut down energy production in the United States,” DeSantis continued.
After Biden’s attempts to blame Russian Premiere Vladimir Putin for skyrocketing energy prices fell on deaf ears, the administration has turned Biden’s attention to oil companies, saying it’s their patriotic duty to drill more gas.
However, the Biden administration will not provide any more leases for land to drill, or allow for the building of new oil refineries.
“He (President Biden) comes in, he puts really negative policies to try to kneecap American energy production,” DeSantis said. “And of course, that’s been a huge driver as to why we now have gas higher than we have ever seen it before, in my lifetime in this country.”
DeSantis joked that apparently the President believes oil executives weren’t interested in profits until Biden took the oath of office.
According to DeSantis, the painful price at the pump is one of the contributing factors to the overall dismal state of the American economy.
“And I think that’s had a huge impact on overall inflation because everything that’s produced relies on energy,” DeSantis said. “And when those energy costs go up, it has an effect across the board.”
But DeSantis said there have been other policies coming from the White House that have hurt American workers.
“Obviously, when you’re printing trillions of dollars, the money supply, that has caused it (inflation) to go up as well,” DeSantis added. “So, I think there have been a series of policy misjudgments.”
DeSantis laid out the types of policies he would enact if he were President – a reasonable possibility, given DeSantis is one of the leading potential contenders to take on Biden in 2024.
“We need to lead the world in production,” DeSantis said. “We need to get rid of all the roadblocks. We need to make sure people can get permits, want to make sure we can do LNG exports.”
He added that he would give the greenlight to more pipelines.
“You know what, that would be good for the American people,” DeSantis continued.
“And so, we’ve got to start putting the people first over the ideology of the ruling class and the governing elites,” DeSantis concluded.
