Few Democrats suffer from a worse case of Trump Derangement Syndrome than Jimmy Kimmel.
And it may have gotten the best of him this time.
That’s because Donald Trump’s victory has Jimmy Kimmel panicked after he committed this election interference crime on live TV.
Let the tears flow
Once it became clear that President-elect Donald Trump was, in fact, returning to the White House with Republican majorities in the House and Senate, the Democrat meltdown commenced.
No one illustrated Democrats’ total disconnection from reality more than disgraced late night show host Jimmy Kimmel.
During his first post-election monologue, Kimmel reacted to the news that Trump had defeated Vice President Kamala Harris rather easily by literally bursting into tears on live television.

Some speculated that Kimmel was likely crying because he realized that Trump’s victory may mean that the lists of Jeffrey Epstein and P. Diddy’s accomplices – which some have speculated the late-night host could be on – will be released.
But it could also be that Kimmel knows he may now be held accountable for the crime he committed prior to the election.
In the lead up to Election Day, Kimmel used one of the painfully unfunny monologues his team of writers produces for him to tell Trump voters not to cast their ballots until Thursday or Friday after the Tuesday election.
“I don’t know if you guys know about this, but we have an election coming up,” Kimmel said. “I feel pretty relaxed about it and I’ve really been enjoying the week. In times like this, it is important to remember that cannabis is legal in our state.”
“You have to vote,” he urged his left-wing audience. “You can vote early. If you can’t vote early, vote on time. If you want to vote for Trump, vote late, vote very late. Do your voting on Thursday, maybe Friday. This will be my third time voting against Donald Trump — fifth, if you count the two times he was nominated for an Emmy for a reality show host.”
Of course, while no one takes Kimmel seriously, the Biden-Harris Department of Justice did previously prosecute a Trump supporter for making a similar joke in 2016.
Democrats’ two-tiered justice system
At that time, Douglas Mackey, who ran an anonymous X account named “Rickey Vaughn” in honor of Charlie Sheen’s character in the Major League franchise, shared a meme on social media that encouraged former First Lady Hillary Clinton’s supporters to vote via text message.
But since Trump won the 2016 election, it wasn’t until the week after President Joe Biden was inaugurated in 2021 that Mackey was prosecuted for the crime.
It didn’t matter that Mackey wasn’t the one who made the meme – he merely shared it – or that an entire other election cycle had come and gone since he made the joke, the Biden-Harris regime still sought to imprison him.
Ultimately, Obama-appointed District Court Judge Ann Donnelly sentenced Mackey to seven months in prison for “election interference.”
“They’re putting Douglass Mackey in jail for sharing a joking meme about Hillary Clinton seven years ago,” Trump said at the time of the sentencing. “Nobody ever heard of anything like that.”
Needless to say, Mackey, who is now rightfully appealing his sentence, had plenty of questions after seeing Kimmel commit virtually the same “crime” he supposedly did.
“When I made an election joke, the Deep State used it as a pretext to conduct a fishing expedition against me, subpoenaing all financial records, leases, employment information and pay stubs, and email accounts. Will Jimmy Kimmel enjoy the same?” Mackey wrote on X.
It’s never been more clear that Democrats weaponized the government against their political opponents than seeing Jimmy Kimmel be treated totally differently than Douglas Mackey.
