Adam Schiff is on the verge of receiving a parting gift from Joe Biden that will torpedo his career

The California Senator-elect might be done for before he even gets to the Upper Chamber.

Joe Biden is spending his final weeks in office frantically attempting to tie up any loose ends that could potentially cause his corrupt allies to face accountability for their wrongdoings.

He’s already pardoned his son Hunter and wants nothing more than to do the same for all of his top lackeys and cronies.

But now Adam Schiff is on the verge of receiving a parting gift from Joe Biden that will torpedo his career.

Biden sets a trap for Schiff

According to a recent report from POLITICO’s Jonathan Martin, President Joe Biden’s decision to preemptively pardon his son, Hunter, may just be the tip of the iceberg for Biden’s preemptive pardon spree.

Martin noted that Biden is also considering preemptive pardons for the likes of Dr. Anthony Fauci, disgraced former Rep. Liz Cheney (RINO-WY), Representative Adam Schiff (D-CA), and many others.

“Those who could face exposure include such members of Congress’ Jan. 6 Committee as Sen.-elect Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) and former GOP Rep. Liz Cheney of Wyoming,” Martin explained. “Trump has previously said Cheney ‘should go to jail along with the rest of the Unselect Committee!’ Also mentioned by Biden’s aides for a pardon is Anthony Fauci, the former head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases who became a lightning rod for criticism from the right during the Covid-19 pandemic.”

While President-elect Donald Trump has repeatedly stated that he won’t direct his Attorney General to go after the likes of Schiff, Cheney, or Fauci, he sent Democrats into panic mode when he told NBC News recently that members of the January 6 Committee likely belong in prison for the deranged, unconstitutional, and downright corrupt way in which they carried out their sham “investigation” of Democrats’ fabricated “insurrection” narrative.

For his part, though, Schiff has attempted to brush aside the possibility of a potential preemptive pardon, portraying himself as someone who doesn’t need a pardon, even though he’s already been proven to have misused his access to classified information in an effort to remove the duly-elected President from office.

“I would urge the president not to do that,” Schiff said of a potential pardon. “I think it would seem defensive and unnecessary.”

Anything to avoid accountability

Of course, like most things with the ruling class elite – particularly Democrats – Schiff is likely not divulging his real motivation for eschewing a preemptive pardon.

Coincidentally, several January 6 defendants recently filed motions requesting that their proceedings be delayed in light of President-elect Donald Trump’s promise to pardon many of them once he takes office.

But as the Biden Justice Department noted when it responded to the motions, pardons don’t magically erase guilt as an individual who accepts a pardon must first confess their guilt.

“[A] pardon at some unspecified date in the future … would not unring the bell of conviction,” the Biden Justice Department contended. “In fact, quite the opposite. The defendant would first have to accept the pardon, which necessitates a confession of guilt.”

Obviously, if the Biden Justice Department is arguing that accepting a pardon is an admission of guilt, then the same holds true for any pardons Biden issues, including the one he’s already given his son, as well as the potential pardon that could be coming Rep. Schiff’s way.

And it’s likely that’s the very reason that Adam Schiff is suddenly totally uninterested in receiving a pardon from Joe Biden.

Because if he does accept the pardon in order to avoid facing accountability for his corrupt wrongdoings, he’s only going to be telling on himself.
