After Donald Trump shocked the Left with his 2016 victory over Hillary Clinton, Democrats launched the so-called “resist” movement.
Democrats are again ignoring voters and going back to their resisting ways following Trump’s second White House win.
And now this Democrat-controlled state’s new plan to thwart Trump’s Border Czar will have you seeing red.
Americans give Trump a mass deportation mandate
There’s been a lot of talk about “mandates” following the 2024 election.
And with good reason.
Senator Tommy Tuberville (R-AL) recently laid out the case that American voters gave President-elect Donald Trump a mandate last November.
Trump went 7-0 in battleground states.
The GOP Senate went 1-4 in those same battleground states.
Trump won the popular vote.
The GOP House didn’t gain seats.
This election was a mandate for @realDonaldTrump.
Give him the team he and the American people are asking for…

“Trump went 7-0 in battleground states,” Tuberville tweeted. “The GOP Senate went 1-4 in those same battleground states. Trump won the popular vote. The GOP House didn’t gain seats. This election was a mandate for Donald Trump. Give him the team he and the American people are asking for and stop pretending this is business as usual.”
The mandate for Trump is clear, but what exactly is the mandate for?
To determine that, one has to look at Trump’s campaign promises and the issues he ran on most.
The President-elect’s top issues that resonated with voters were inflation, only two genders, and illegal immigration and the broken border.
That’s why Trump wasted no time appointing a real Border Czar.

Unlike President Joe Biden before him – who named Vice President Kamala Harris as his do-nothing “Border Czar” – Trump picked an expert.
The President-elect named former ICE Director, Tom Homan, as his Border Czar.
And since this isn’t an official cabinet position, the U.S. Senate will have no vote in approving the appointment.
Unlike Kamala before him, Homan holds a hardline on illegal immigration.
In fact, in multiple interviews, the incoming Border Czar restated the Trump Administration’s intention to mass deport criminal illegal aliens.
A Seattle politician wants to give more tax dollars to illegal aliens
Americans support Trump’s merit-based approach to legal immigration.
However, elected officials in one of the bluest cities in one of the bluest states in the country don’t plan on playing along.
The Post Millennial is reporting that Washington State Senator Rebecca Saldaña (D-Seattle) has re-introduced a bill for the upcoming session that would grant unemployment benefits to illegal aliens.

Illegal immigrants are obviously ineligible to work.
However, according to the Washington State Standard, over 156,000 illegal immigrants are employed in Washington state.
Along with giving welfare to illegal aliens, the bill also would protect employers who hire illegal aliens.
Saldaña’s proposal is estimated to cost Washington workers a minimum of $100,000 the first two years and an additional $140,000 the following two years.
Making matters worse, Washington can hardly afford to shell out nearly a quarter million dollars in handouts to illegal aliens.
The state can’t even pay for benefits for its legal residents.
According to the Post Millennial report, The Evergreen State is currently facing a $10-17 billion budget deficit.
To address the massive budget shortfall, incoming Democratic Governor Bob Ferguson has proposed a 6% across-the-board cut in state spending.
Even that wouldn’t fully address the state’s lofty deficit – the cut is described as just a “first step.”
But despite not having the money to support it, Saldaña and her fellow Democrats are committed to supposed “social justice” and open borders that run contrary to the will of American voters.
