When it comes to media celebrities shilling for the Democrats, Joy Behar is one of the loudest.
She is still refusing to believe that the Democrat Party did anything wrong.
But Joy Behar went pale in the face when she heard this damning truth about Democrats.
Former Obama staffers admit the Democrat Party ignored reality
Three ex-staffers for former President Barack Obama, Jon Favreau, Jon Lovett, and Tommy Vietor, started their own popular far-Left podcast called Pod Save America.
During a recent appearance on ABC’s The View, the trio admitted to the hosts that the Democrat Party was still shattered as Donald Trump began his next term in the Oval Office.
One reason they believed this to be the case, argued by Vietor, was that party officials had spent so much time and effort lying through their teeth about former President Joe Biden’s age and mental clarity.
“I think one thing, though, that harmed the Democrats over the last couple of years was a lack of candor and not being honest with ourselves that there were a lot of voters who felt like Joe Biden was too old to get another four years,” Vietor argued on the show.
Since the dust settled after the election, Democrats have been desperately playing the blame game to find an excuse for their struggles, and the most popular scapegoat, now, is Joe Biden.
The Democrat establishment scheme to force former President Biden out of the race was led by former President Obama and former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA).
But Pelosi insisted that Biden was to blame for the result of the election, and claimed that former Vice President Kamala Harris was a terrible candidate for President.
“Had the President gotten out sooner, there may have been other candidates in the race,” Pelosi argued in an interview with the New York Times.
Fractures in the Democrat Party continue to grow
Following the departure of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris from the White House, Democrats have failed to find a single leader to unify behind.
Even the co-hosts of The View were forced to admit that the Democrats had serious issues with growing divisions.
Vietor argued that the party was as fractured as it was, primarily, because they refused to accept that Biden was struggling to stay afloat during his re-election campaign.
He reluctantly admitted that voters “were rejecting his candidacy, and you could see it in polling and you could see it in primaries.”
Many Democrat Primary voters were pushing back against Biden and his agenda because he had refused to call for a permanent ceasefire from Israel in their widely covered war against Hamas terrorists.
“And Democrats said, ‘You know what? It’s fine. Everything will be okay’,” he stated about the prevailing mentality of Democrat voters. “‘Trump is bad and therefore that will offset that.’”
Vietor continued by saying he believed Democrats needed to focus more on being honest, while trying to draw back working-class voters.
“We got to get our act together,” Vietor complained.
The View’s co-host Joy Behar asked if any of the podcasters joining her on set believed that Biden could have won re-election if he did not drop out.
“He would not have won,” Favreau pitched in. “His own polling showed that Donald Trump was going to win 400 Electoral Votes – 400 plus.”
If Trump were to win more than 400 votes in the Electoral College, that would have meant that he would have carried states such as Virginia, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Illinois, and others.
According to sources at the Washington Post last December, Biden is still claiming that he would have won the race if he wasn’t forced out by his party allies.
Democrats are still struggling to find common ground to regroup on, and to build a strategy for victory in future elections.
But as of now, they seemingly have no idea on where to start.
