Donald Trump is putting all of his cards on the table during his second term in the White House.
But now, he is going after one subject that the Left hoped to remain untouchable.
And Donald Trump just made one promise to Peter Doocy that has Democrats screaming in rage.
Democrats throw a massive tantrum over audit and review of Education Department
SpaceX CEO Elon Musk has already sent shockwaves across the Washington, D.C., Swamp following his Department of Government Efficiency announcing massive changes to government spending.
Their audit and review of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) resulted in a temporary shutdown, sending the Left into a full-blown frenzy.
But a recent NBC News report indicated that the Trump administration has a new, massive target where they plan to install massive changes – the Department of Education.
Following the breaking news, several House Democrats led by Representative Maxine Waters (D-CA) stormed the Department of Education building where they attempted to bully security officers to let them enter the offices.
President Donald Trump had promised on the campaign trail that he would pursue the abolishment of the Education Department, and he is actively working to make good on that promise.
White House Correspondent from Fox News, Peter Doocy, asked President Trump about his thoughts on Congresswoman Maxine Waters (D-CA) and House Democrats trying to storm the Department of Education.
“I see the same [lawmakers], I see Maxine Waters, a low life. I see all these people, they don’t love our country,” Trump began. “We want great education.”
“So they rank 40 countries in education, we’re ranked dead last, but the good news is we’re number one in one category, you know what that is? Cost per pupil,” he continued, justifying his concerns.
The amount of money spent per student in the United States by the federal government has skyrocketed since the 1970s, but test scores have stalled out and entered a freefall, proving zero results for the growing investment.
Trump went on to note that the United States far outspent the rest of the world on education, but had nothing to show for it.
Education Department scores an “F” for results despite monumental spending increases
The concerns shared by Donald Trump regarding education in the United States follow stark comparisons to other countries.
“We spend more per pupil than any other country in the world, you look at Norway, Denmark, Sweden, various countries all up and down, Finland, China does very well in education and then look at us,” argued the President.
“We spend much more money than they do per pupil or any other way, but we spend much more money than they do yet we’re ranked, this year, Biden’s last year,” he continued. “Congratulations Joe, we’re ranked dead last.”
The Department of Education and the federal government’s heavy-handed involvement in education for students in grades K-12 has become an extremely expensive failure.
The disaster has resulted in economic catastrophe for both taxpayers and students alike.
According to a recent study hosted by the Nation’s Report Card, math and reading scores for students in grades four and eight are still far below where they were before the COVID-19 scam-demic.
Remote-style education that was heavily utilized during the pandemic resulted in students falling far behind expectations when it came to the subjects of math and reading.
These concerns and failures have resulted in Musk and DOGE setting up a new microscope to review and audit the spending by the Department of Education, following their massive success in rooting out waste and bad spending at USAID.
The New York Times even reported that there are currently as many as 16 DOGE officials setting up shop within the Department of Education right now.
A current Education Department employee complained that Trump’s administration, with help from Musk, has been creating a sentiment of fear and terror for federal employees.
“There are people who are panicking,” whined the employee to NBC News. “There are people who are eligible for retirement and still say, ‘I’m not going anywhere. I’m not going to voluntarily give in to the pressure and the intimidation.’ That’s all this really is.”
The Department of Education is staring down at the light that is at the end of the tunnel. And it seems that DOGE is helping to move the Education Department closer to that light at a significantly faster speed.
