RINO Mitch McConnell just got destroyed by Karoline Leavitt for this sick betrayal

Karoline Leavitt just blew the ashes to oblivion after Mitch McConnell committed arson on any shred of influence he’d hoped to hang on to with the Trump administration.

Kentucky Senator Mitch McConnell isn’t ending his decades in elected office gracefully.

In fact, McConnell seems to be doing all he can to prove he is nothing more than a Never-Trump political charlatan.

And RINO Mitch McConnell just got destroyed by Karoline Leavitt for this sick betrayal.

Mitch McConnell continues to vote against Donald Trump’s nominees

Mitch McConnell voted to confirm radical, lawless, incompetent and woke Biden nominees like Lloyd Austin, Merrick Garland, Janet Yellen, Alejandro Mayorkas, and Antony Blinken.

In fact, Joe Biden had no more loyal ally in confirming his worst nominees and ramming legislation like the Green New Deal and gun control through Congress than Cocaine Mitch.

Now, the 82-year-old McConnell can’t walk up a flight of steps without falling.

And he is seemingly only hanging around until his term expires in 2026 so he can vote against Trump’s nominees and oppose the Trump-backed legislation the Swamp fears the most.

“Backstabbing RINO Mitch McConnell voted NO on Tulsi Gabbard. Get out,” Conservative commentator Benny Johnson declared in a post to X.

McConnell had already voted against Pete Hegseth for Secretary of Defense.

Then, having decided to burn all his bridges to the Republican Party, McConnell decided to go out in a blaze of glory by casting the lone Republican vote against Tulsi Gabbard’s nomination to serve as Director of National Intelligence and RFK, Jr. to serve as Secretary of Health and Human Services.

McConnell is one of the chief warmongers in Congress

And even though the country voted for Donald Trump to end the war in Ukraine, McConnell says he voted against Gabbard because she opposed a regime change war in Syria and Joe Biden’s ongoing conflict in Ukraine.

McConnell claimed that opposing wars meant Gabbard lacked the fitness to oversee the nation’s intelligence community and brief the President.

“When a nominee’s record proves them unworthy of the highest public trust, and when their command of relevant policy falls short of the requirements of their office, the Senate should withhold its consent,” McConnell stated.

Even though McConnell was proven wrong about the wars in Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Syria, and Ukraine – all of which ended disastrously for the United States – McConnell falsely asserted it was Gabbard who lacked the judgment to fill the post of Director of National Intelligence.

“The nation should not have to worry that the intelligence assessments the President receives are tainted by a Director of National Intelligence with a history of alarming lapses in judgment,” McConnell added.

McConnell, of course, sided with Barack Obama to smear whistleblower Edward Snowden for exposing Obama’s high crimes and misdemeanors in spying on Americans’ every electronic communication without a warrant.

“Edward Snowden’s treasonous betrayal of the United States and its most sensitive lawful intelligence activities endangered sources, methods, and lives,” McConnell continued.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt fielded a question in the briefing room about McConnell’s vote against Gabbard.

Leavitt expertly slammed McConnell’s vote as disappointing and noted that every Senate Democrat voted to confirm every Biden nominee.

“I think we’re greatly disappointed in any Republican who chooses willfully to vote against the president’s exceptionally qualified Cabinet nominees and picks to lead his America First administration. Not a single Democrat swayed from voting against President Biden’s nominees,” Leavitt began.

“And we know how many of them turned out. They turned out to be atrocious at their jobs, leaving America much worse than they were when they took the oath of office. And so I’ve said it repeatedly from this podium. I addressed it at the beginning of my remarks. We expect all Republicans to vote to stay tough and strong. Vote for President Trump’s nominee so we can get to work and continue to work very hard to implement this president’s agenda,” Leavitt concluded.

McConnell has voted for nominees who weaponized the justice system, drove up inflation, opened the border, and oversaw the disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan.

But because McConnell hates President Trump and hates the America First foreign policy, he decided to try and play the role of skunk at the garden party for Tulsi Gabbard’s confirmation.
