J.D. Vance lit up Mitch McConnell with one powerful message that had him waving the white flag

The days of the establishment running the GOP appear to be no longer as J.D. Vance just delivered this one powerful message about his plan to change the status quo.

Mitch McConnell is furious that Donald Trump successfully made it back into the White House.

But nothing could have prepared him for what happened next.

And J.D. Vance lit up Mitch McConnell with one powerful message that had him waving the white flag.

J.D. Vance successfully pushes Trump nominees over the finish line

President Donald Trump had a long, rocky road to see his cabinet nominees pass confirmation with help of RINOs in the Senate.

Senator Mitch McConnell (RINO-KY) and his establishment allies hoped to flex their influence the way they had previously when they successfully knocked former Representative Matt Gaetz (R-FL) off the list of nominees last November.

Following this event, establishment Republicans thought they were capable of dictating who Trump could have at his table to help build executive policy.

Pete Hegseth, Tulsi Gabbard, and Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. all appeared to have no choice but to walk a similar gauntlet in order to be confirmed in the Senate.

The media joined the Swamp by launching a massive mud-dragging campaign against Hegseth – to the likes of what they did to Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh following his 2018 nomination – in hopes to prevent him from becoming Trump’s Secretary of Defense.

These anti-establishment nominees appeared to have an extremely narrow chance of making it onto the cabinet.

But ultimately, Hegseth was successfully confirmed, along with Gabbard as Director of National Intelligence and RFK, Jr. as Secretary of Health and Human Services.

Trump’s Vice President, J.D. Vance had used his years of experience in the Senate to draw a gameplan to help reassure his former colleagues that these were the right people for the job.

Vance worked endlessly to gather support for these nominees, using pressure points and multiple meetings to remind fence-riding Senators of what was at stake and why they should join the right side of history.

His work proved fruitful for the Trump administration, as every nominee following Gaetz has made it through their confirmation thus far.

J.D. Vance adds his own weight to tip the scales in favor of confirmation for nominees

Senator Todd Young (RINO-IN) is a strong ally of Mitch McConnell and was wavering on where he stood on Tulsi Gabbard’s nomination.

He said that he had “extensive conversations” with Vice President Vance regarding her nomination to Director of National Intelligence, which ultimately resulted in him voting in favor of confirmation.

RINO Senator Bill Cassidy (R-LA), who is a medical doctor, had expressed criticism over RFK, Jr. early on in regards to his nomination to become Trump’s Secretary of Health and Human Services.

But he had thanked Vance for his “honest counsel” throughout Kennedy’s confirmation process, and he ended up voting in favor of the nomination.

The Daily Caller had reported that Vance was a key figure in bringing Senators Young, Cassidy, and other Senate Republicans with cold feet dating back to November in order to lock in Trump’s nominees for confirmation.

Young even credited and praised Vance for his work in reassuring him that Gabbard was the right person for National Intelligence, and bringing him into the fold on a yes vote.

“He was respectful, he listened a lot more than he talked, and he, frankly, he seemed to be effective on his end in getting from me the sort of concessions that were required to get to a yes,” Young boasted to reporters.

A source later claimed that Young didn’t actually receive any “concessions” for a yes vote on Gabbard.

But Young was certain that Vance was a powerful tool for the Trump administration in making progress in Congress for cabinet nominees.

“I think he’s been tasked with this role because of his pre-existing relationship with us,” explained Young.

Vance’s former job as a U.S. Senator gave him the connections and experience necessary to help move his former colleagues in favor of these nominations.

“Whether you’re there two years or 12 years, there is connective tissue – like, I sat in your chair,” a senior Republican aide explained to POLITICO.

Even an ally of RFK, Jr. gave J.D. Vance the credit for his successful confirmation.

“All I know is that Vance definitely made the difference,” they argued. “Don’t know specifics about the conversations. But after his visits, Bobby had the votes.”

J.D. Vance refused to hold back what skills and connections he had available to ensure that Trump’s picks for his cabinet could survive the blocks that had been set up by the GOP establishment.

It is growing more clear to establishment RINOs, like Mitch McConnell himself, that the influence of the Swamp within the Senate Republican caucus is dying out.
