Fox News host Laura Ingraham often expresses strong support for Donald Trump’s policies.
But she got cold feet when she missed the full picture on this one policy.
And Laura Ingraham turned beet red in embarrassment after Alina Habba fact-checked her live on Fox News.
Laura Ingraham tries to suggest Trump has gone weak on China
In his very first cabinet meeting of his second term, President Trump discussed that he wanted to go over plans to improve American economic relations with Communist China.
He argued that he saw a future where Communist China was investing more into the United States and how it would bring billions to trillions of dollars into the American economy.
“I see so many things saying that we don’t want China in this country,” began Trump. “That’s not right.”
“We want them to invest in the United States. That’s good,” he added. “That’s a lot of money coming in, and we’ll invest in China.”
Laura Ingraham did not like the sound of these talking points, arguing that Communist China often steals American intellectual property whenever they make investments in the United States.
Ingraham went on to say that the MAGA movement did not vote for Communist China exporting cheap labor to the United States or buying up American farmland.
“OK. But China’s already bought up American companies, agricultural interests, and huge swaths of land and properties!” Ingraham began on her Fox News segment. “Including some that we’ve documented here on the Angle near our military bases.”
“But did MAGA turn out for Trump because they wanted more of that?” she ranted. “Or they want thousands of more foreign workers here to drive down wages and opportunities for Americans?”
Ingraham then introduced White House senior counselor Alina Habba to defend Trump’s remarks.
“A little murmuring in MAGA-land about the comments about China today. Did MAGA vote for China to be able to buy up more American real estate or American companies, they ask,” she fired at Habba.
Habba was clearly put back by Ingraham suggesting that Donald Trump got cold feet regarding Communist China and was beginning to go soft.

Habba instantly fired back, defending Trump and his comments.
“Is that really a question?” slammed Habba. “Really? That’s what we’re doing now, the spin? That’s the spin?”
She highlighted the other parts of President Trump’s policy, including the 10 percent tariffs he slapped on all goods imported from Communist China.
President Trump had also recently signed an executive order that instructed the Committee on Foreign Investment to ban Communist China from the ability to invest in any of America’s strategic industries.
Habba then explained to Ingraham that President Trump was actually focusing on leveling the playing field with Communist China in trade.
She argued that past administrations continued to open the door for Communist China to flood the American marketplace with cheap goods while they installed monumental tariffs on American goods to protect their own industries.
“Yeah, no. What the president said was very simple. It’s the same policy we’ve had across the board,” she continued. “When you look at reciprocal tariffs, when you look at the strong arm that President Trump has had with China, with Canada, with Mexico.”
“We want America to be safe. We care about American people first,” declared Habba.
All countries have some level of economic relations, but President Trump wanted to create an equal playing field for the United States.
“What the president was referring to was us continuing to have business relations,” she clarified. “We do import/export. Of course, we do. That is what we’re talking about.”
“Yes, we are going to be a strong nation. Yes, we are going to have peace through strength. Yes, we are going to have a stronger economy,” Habba doubled down.
