Hakeem Jeffries Said ICE Agents Will Kill Americans at Airports and Tom Homan Had the Perfect Response

A grandmother in Atlanta waited three hours in a security line last Friday so Democrats could score points against Trump.

Now their leader just told CNN that the men Trump sent to fix the mess are going to murder you.

Tom Homan went on Fox News Sunday and told America exactly who's responsible.

Jeffries Drops the Mask on CNN

Sunday morning on State of the Union, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries of New York looked Dana Bash in the eye and said the quiet part loud.

"The last thing that the American people need are for untrained ICE agents to be deployed at airports all across the country, potentially to brutalize or in some instances, kill them," Jeffries said.

He didn't say "inconvenience." He didn't say "alarm." He said kill.

This is the same Hakeem Jeffries who has previously urged people to "fight" the Trump Administration "in the streets" – language the White House has documented alongside dozens of other Democratic leaders who have compared ICE agents to the Gestapo, called them "secret police," and described immigration enforcement as "state-sponsored terrorism."

What Democrats Actually Did to Your Airport

Here's what led to this moment.

Democrats have blocked DHS funding since February 14 – six straight weeks – using a Minneapolis incident as their pretext to demand new restrictions on ICE before they'll release a single dollar.

The result: airports across the country have been in chaos.

Three-hour security lines in Atlanta, Houston, and New York.

Families missing flights.

Spring break turned into a hostage situation – and American travelers are the hostages.

Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy put it plainly: "If a deal isn't cut, you're going to see what's happening today look like child's play."

Trump ran out of patience.

Saturday on Truth Social, he told ICE agents to "GET READY" and announced they'd deploy to airports Monday to move the lines and restore order.

Border czar Tom Homan spelled out exactly what that looks like.

"There are certain parts of security that we can move people off those jobs – guarding an exit – so they can get back to the scanning machines and move people quicker," Homan said Sunday on CNN.

Then Homan went on Fox News and said what every honest American already knew: his administration didn't manufacture this crisis – Democrats did, and they own every delayed flight and every missed connection that came with it.

This Is What Democrats Do to Law Enforcement

This isn't Jeffries going off-script. This is the playbook.

The White House catalogued 57 instances of Democratic leaders attacking ICE before Jeffries even walked into that CNN studio.

Tim Walz – ICE is the "modern-day Gestapo."

Brandon Johnson – ICE agents are "secret police terrorizing our communities."

Boston Mayor Michelle Wu compared ICE officers to neo-Nazis.

Rep. Pramila Jayapal said ICE agents will "shoot at you and kill you."

The House Homeland Security Committee held a hearing in December – "When Badges Become Targets: How Anti-Law Enforcement Rhetoric Fuels Violence Against Officers" – after violence against federal agents spiked.

Patrick Yoes, national president of the Fraternal Order of Police, told the committee directly that inflammatory rhetoric from public figures "emboldens people to turn verbal assaults into brazen acts of violence against law enforcement."

Jeffries knows what he's doing.

Telling millions of viewers that ICE agents coming to their airport might "kill" them isn't political commentary – it's a target painted on the backs of federal officers showing up to end the chaos his party created.

Democrats manufactured the airport crisis to use travelers as leverage against Trump's immigration enforcement.

Trump called their bluff and sent ICE to fix it.

Trump told NewsNation what happened next: the moment he announced the deployment, Democrats suddenly wanted to make a deal.

Because the moment Trump stops waiting for permission, the leverage disappears.
