Joe Biden is not really in charge of his administration according to former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich.
Gingrich recently appeared on Fox News Channel and savaged Joe Biden for his callous response to the wildfires that ravaged Maui.
Biden ignored the fires for days while on vacation at the beach with his only comment on the matter telling a reporter, “No comment.”
When Biden finally went to Hawaii, he told an embarrassing lie about how he could relate to those suffering – the death toll is expected to reach over 1,000 killed – because one time a small fire broke out in his kitchen which Biden falsely claimed was a major threat that almost cost him his 1967 Corvette.
Gingrich argued this showed that Joe Biden was cognitively compromised, and that Barack Obama was really the one pulling the strings in D.C.
“He’s not cognitively capable. He’s not in touch with reality. I personally think Obama runs the administration,” Gingrich claimed. “I don’t think Biden does. And I think everything they do that’s smart comes from Obama’s acolytes. And Biden just sort of floats along — in a way he never left the basement. But I also think it’s important to understand Biden is the tip of the iceberg. The real corruption is Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama — and Joe Biden is the smallest of the three players,” Gingrich stated.
Conservatives have long suspected Obama is the one still in charge of the Democrat Party.
An interview between Tablet Magazine’s David Samuels and Obama biographer essentially confirmed that point.
Samuels noted how odd it was for the Obamas to remain in Washington after leaving the White House when Donald Trump became president.
The Obama’s claimed it was so their daughter could remain in the same school, but it looked like the former president running a shadow government while Trump sat in the White House.
Garrow and Samuels discussed how now even though Biden is in office, the administration is still carrying out Obama’s foreign policy, specifically with trying to restart Obama’s Iran nuclear deal, which Donald Trump pulled America out of.
Samules explained that this was because of the number of former Obama staffers sitting in key positions and that they – and not the Biden appointees – are the ones making policy decisions.
“The easy explanation, of course, is that Joe Biden is not running that part of his administration. Obama is. He doesn’t even have to pick up the phone because all of his people are already inside the White House. They hold the Iran file. Tony Blinken doesn’t,” Samuels stated.
“Rob Malley is just one person. Brett McGurk. Dan Shapiro in Israel. Lisa Monaco in Justice. Susan Rice running domestic policy. It’s turtles all the way down. There are obviously large parts of White House policymaking that belong to Barack Obama because they’re staffed by his people, who worked for him and no doubt report back to him. Personnel is policy, as they say in Washington,” Samuels added.
Obama once famously told late night talk show host Stephen Colbert that if he ever served a third term, he would want it to be where he sat in the basement in sweatpants and gave orders over the phone to a front man who did his bidding.
Gingrich and Samuels believe that is essentially the arrangement America is living under right now.
