When Florida Governor Ron DeSantis chose to take Democrat-controlled “sanctuary” cities and states at their word that they wanted nothing more than to take in and care for as many illegal aliens as possible by transporting just 49 of the millions of illegal aliens who have entered the country under President Joe Biden’s open borders agenda, Democrats predictably lost their minds.
In fact, many Democrats and their media allies went so far as to demand that Biden Attorney General Merrick Garland somehow charge DeSantis with “kidnapping.”
Never mind the fact that the illegal aliens signed documents clearly stating that they were going to Martha’s Vineyard voluntarily.
As many assumed would be the case, Governor DeSantis’ actions fully exposed Democrats’ hypocrisy on illegal immigration.
National Guard called in
Martha’s Vineyard ultimately called in the Massachusetts National Guard to forcibly move the illegal aliens anywhere but there.
As always, Democrats are all for illegal immigration when it’s only affecting border communities and states, but not when it shows up at their front door.
And that fact was further proven by a recent Boston Globe report that revealed how Democrats helped some of the illegal aliens transported by DeSantis secure a special status that will ensure they cannot be deported from the U.S. moving forward.
According to the Globe’s report, with the help of left-wing immigration attorneys – likely provided for them by your tax dollars – some of the illegal aliens claimed that they are somehow “victims” of a crime because they were supposedly “duped” into taking part in the voluntary, chartered flights to Martha’s Vineyard.
Immigration attorneys secure “bona fide determinations” from the Biden administration
And now, three of the 49 illegal aliens have been awarded “bona fide determinations” and granted a special type of visa known as a “U-visa” that will not only allow them to legally stay and work in the U.S., but also prevents them from being deported moving forward.
“A handful of the migrants shipped off to Martha’s Vineyard by Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis 18 months ago are now legally allowed to work in the US — because they’re considered victims of a crime,” the New York Post reported. “The migrants applied last year for a special type of visa designated for crime victims — known as a U-visa — after they claimed they were duped into boarding charter flights from San Antonio, Texas, to the upmarket liberal enclave in Massachusetts with the false promises of jobs and housing.”
According to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, U-visas are supposed to be specifically awarded to “victims of certain crimes who have suffered mental or physical abuse and are helpful to law enforcement or government officials in the investigation or prosecution of criminal activity.”
The illegal aliens’ immigration attorney also claimed that “these determinations are one step closer to justice,” and “further underscores that anyone who knows all the facts simply cannot ignore the criminality of the actors.”
The Biden regime will stop at nothing to continue forcing their open borders agenda on the nation.
And that includes pretending as though Ron DeSantis somehow committed a crime by voluntarily transporting illegal aliens to a Democrat-controlled “sanctuary city.”
