Joe Biden is hellbent on pushing his radical agenda on the country.
He’s willing to ignore the rule of law if that’s what it takes.
But a federal judge just handed down a ruling that sent Joe Biden into a fit of rage.
Joe Biden violated the law with his decision to unilaterally forgive student loan debt.
Using executive action, Biden went around Congress and tried to forgive up to $20,000 in student loan debt for Pell Grant recipients and up to $10,000 for regular recipients by using a little-known federal law passed after September 11.
Biden’s decision just before the Midterm elections was clearly designed to try and boost turnout among young voters across the country.
But a federal judge in Texas appointed by former President Donald Trump just handed down a ruling against Biden’s illegal student loan bailout.
In his ruling, United States District Judge Mark Pittman called it one of the biggest executive branch power grabs in history.
“Whether the Program constitutes good public policy is not the role of this Court to determine. Still, no one can plausibly deny that it is either one of the largest delegations of legislative power to the executive branch, or one of the largest exercises of legislative power without congressional authority in the history of the United States,” Judge Pittman wrote in his decision.
“In this country, we are not ruled by an all-powerful executive with a pen and a phone,” Judge Pittman continued. “Instead, we are ruled by a Constitution that provides for three distinct and independent branches of government.”
The lawsuit was filed by the group Job Creators Network Foundation.
President Elaine Parker called the ruling a major victory for the rule of law.
“The court has correctly ruled in favor of our motion and deemed the Biden student loan program illegal. The judge criticized the Biden Administration program, calling it ‘one of the largest exercises of legislative power without congressional authority in the history of the United States.’ This ruling protects the rule of law which requires all Americans to have their voices heard by their federal government,” Parker said.
According to White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre, the Biden administration is appealing the ruling.
Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) lashed out at Judge Pittman by labeling him a “MAGA judge.”
Other lawsuits were also filed against Biden’s illegal student loan giveaway.
But Judge Pittman just shut down Biden’s massive illegal power grab.
While the Biden administration and the Senate Majority Leader feign outrage and talk about appeals, the truth is the scheme accomplished what they wanted – boosting their defenses against the GOP “Red Wave” in Midterms.
