Joe Biden’s first year as president is shaping up to be an epic disaster.
In a few short months he has absolutely destroyed the economy, botched the Afghanistan withdrawal, and caused infighting in his own party.
Now a fellow Democrat just lowered the boom on Joe Biden and now the Party is in chaos.
Biden’s poll numbers have Democrats in swing states nervous that they could lose the little control they gained in 2020.
And a major swing state with elections this fall has Democrats even more nervous.
And Virginia gubernatorial candidate Terry McAuliffe is one of them.
McAuliffe’s Republican opponent, Glenn Youngkin, is rising in the polls and some of McAuliffe’s recent public statements have the former governor putting his foot in his mouth.
Now we’re learning that McAuliffe has made matters worse by saying Joe Biden is “unpopular” in Virginia.

McAuliffe, like some other Democrats, is desperately trying to distance himself from Biden’s failing administration.
Biden’s poll numbers have Democrats nervous about the 2022 midterms.
A recent Quinnipiac poll showed Biden’s poll numbers rapidly sinking with voters on the topics of COVID, the southern border, the economy, foreign policy, and most importantly, his own mental competence.
All eyes are on Virginia right now.
Some are predicting good things for the GOP if Republican Glenn Youngkin can pull out a win in the race for Governor.
Virginia has been leaning heavily blue over the last few election cycles, but that is in large part because of the Northern Virginia and Hampton Roads regions. If McAuliffe doesn’t win those overwhelmingly, he could be in for a rude awakening.
Fiercely red districts in the southern and southwestern parts of the state are gaining momentum and turning out new voters by the hundreds.
Political pundits are already calling for a Democrat bloodbath come the 2022 midterm elections, and what happens in Virginia could be a very real sign of things to come.
