Fox News has made plenty of questionable decisions in recent years that have left their overwhelmingly conservative audience perplexed as to where the network actually stands.

Many of the network’s talking heads aren’t helping matters.

And now this Fox News anchor is helping Kamala Harris cover up one of her biggest lies of the campaign.

No more debates

In the immediate aftermath of the Presidential debate between former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris, Democrats and their lapdog media allies went to great lengths to pretend as though Kamala had turned in a masterful performance that would propel her to the White House.

But polls commissioned by The New York Times in battleground states like North Carolina, Arizona, and Georgia have indicated that Trump is the one who gained support following the debate.

Despite the fact that ABC News ensured it would be a three-on-one ordeal, Kamala struggled mightily to explain her many flip-flops and how she’d differ from President Joe Biden, while refusing to directly answer any questions on specific issues, like illegal immigration and inflation.

Even Kamala’s handlers knew immediately following the debate that she hadn’t performed that well, leading them to demand another debate with Democrats’ media allies.

The Kamala campaign even went so far as to claim that the Democrat Presidential candidate had agreed to take part in a late-October debate on CNN.

But Trump wisely rejected the idea of taking part in another three-on-one debate hosted by Democrats’ media allies, as it was clearly just another trap.

Of course, Kamala and her minions have since attempted to claim that the former President is now suddenly afraid of debating her, even though he originally agreed to three debates while she refused to take part in any debate outside the one hosted by her allies at ABC News.

But now, Kamala’s fabricated talking point around another debate with Trump is getting a helping hand from one of Fox News’ top anchors, Bret Baier.

Kamala’s newest media ally

In a recent interview with radio host Hugh Hewitt, Baier erroneously claimed that Kamala would participate in a debate hosted by Fox News, even though she’s refused to take part in any debate outside those hosted by her supporters in the media.

“The latest is, I actually believe — this is me talking — that the Harris campaign would do a Fox debate,” Baier claimed. “The former President has come to the conclusion that there really shouldn’t be another debate.”

Baier even went so far as to double down on Kamala’s talking point that it was somehow Trump who was the hold-up on a Fox News debate.

“Now, his reasoning, don’t know,” Baier claimed. “I always thought that it would be like a bug zapper in the backyard for the former President in that he couldn’t get away from the light of 70 million viewers and that he would have to eventually, just knowing him, you know, do it if it was on Fox and something he could agree to. I’m getting the sense from him and the campaign that they aren’t moving past it, and really the hold-up is not the Harris campaign and Fox; it is the former President.”

Of course, in carrying Kamala’s water, Baier conveniently left out the fact that the Democrat Presidential candidate had already rejected a Fox News debate on September 4, even though Trump agreed to it and participated in a town hall hosted by Sean Hannity once Kamala was a no-show.

The former President himself pointed out that fact in a recent post on Truth Social.

“She was a no-show at the Fox Debate, and refused to do NBC & CBS,” Trump wrote. “KAMALA SHOULD FOCUS ON WHAT SHE SHOULD HAVE DONE DURING THE LAST ALMOST FOUR YEAR PERIOD. THERE WILL BE NO THIRD DEBATE.”

Whether Bret Baier wants to admit it or not, the reason there will be no Fox News debate this Presidential campaign cycle is abundantly clear.

And it has everything to do with Kamala Harris’ refusal to take part in any debate or interview in which Democrats’ media allies can’t ensure the scales are tipped in her favor.
