The Deep State’s Russia collusion hoax is one of the biggest political scandals in American history.
And last week, one deep state official was set to face justice for the crimes he committed against the American people.
But then a judge just handed down one prison sentence that left Trump supporters scratching their heads.
Donald Trump’s enemies within the FBI and Justice Department used the Russian collusion investigation as a guise to spy on Donald Trump’s campaign for Hillary Clinton.
Of course, most Americans agree that it was never about investigating Russian collusion but all an attempt to bring down Donald Trump.
That’s why former Attorney General William Barr appointed United States Attorney John Durham to launch a criminal investigation into the origins of the Russia collusion hoax.
However, FBI lawyer Kevin Clinesmith is the only individual to face criminal charges after he pled guilty to falsifying an email that was part of the FISA warrant request to spy on Trump campaign aide Carter Page.
And last week, a Judge sentenced Klinesmith for his crimes. – but only in the form of a slap on the wrist with a $100 fine attached to it.
The Daily Caller reports:
Former FBI lawyer Kevin Clinesmith was sentenced to probation on Friday for altering an email about former Trump aide Carter Page’s relationship with the CIA.
District Court Judge James Boasberg ordered Clinesmith to receive 12 months of probation and perform 400 hours of community service, a sentence far more lenient than the three to six months in prison sought by John Durham, the U.S. Attorney for Connecticut.
12 months probation, 400 hours of community service — and a $100 fine.
Kevin Clinesmith falsified evidence to frame an innocent man, which is considered a cardinal sin when it comes to conducting an investigation.
Yet Cline only received what amounts to a slap on the wrist as punishment for the crimes he committed against the American people while working for the FBI.
