A legendary coach just abandoned basketball in favor of a full TDS meltdown

The NBA isn’t hiding the fact that it is in the tank for the Harris-Walz ticket.

It is, in fact, the same league that goes all-in at virtually every virtue signaling opportunity imagined.

And now perhaps, the most legendary coach in league history just abandoned basketball in favor of a full-on trump Derangement Syndrome meltdown.

The NBA is competing for most woke sports league in the world

Mark Cuban has been all over old school media and social media, with his Rachel Maddow haircut and his Andy Warhol glasses, begging Americans to vote for Kamala Harris.

But Cuban is far from the only leftist in the National Basketball Association.

This is the same league that painted “Black Lives Matter” on the baselines of the courts.

It’s a league that forced out a general manager for siding with Hong Kong protestors, and even made an owner sell his team for using fairly pedestrian locker room talk with employees.

The league’s biggest star, LeBron James, said if he were Brittney Griner, he wouldn’t even want to come back to the United States after being imprisoned in Russia.

One of the league’s most marketable legends, Shaquille O’Neal, recently sponsored a “gun buy-back” event in Dallas, Texas.

A partial team owner, and hall of famer, Dwyane Wade is a leading voice in the fight for “trans rights” – and was even approached by Democrats to run for the U.S. Senate against incumbent Senator Rick Scott (R-FL).

But none of them are suffering from Trump Derangement Syndrome at the same level as multi-time championship San Antonio Spur head coach Gregg Popovich.

Popovich has never kept his political leanings a secret.

In fact, they’re not so much leanings – more so a hard crash into the barricade on the Left.

Popovich preaches a radically woke worldview that includes: Diversity, Equity & Inclusion; defunding the police; and open-borders.

He’s also been a long-time hater of Donald Trump.

And following a recent Spurs game, the man his players call Pop, decided to avoid talking about the game entirely.

RVM News is reporting that Pop instead went on a 15-minute tirade about Donald Trump and Republicans.

“He’s (Donald Trump) is pathetic, he’s small, he’s a whiner, we all know that,” Popovich said at the Spurs post-game press conference. “But you wouldn’t let him babysit your kids. You wouldn’t hire him if you had a small business, you want that man in your business? There’s no way. But you’re going to vote for him for President?”

Pop went on to suggest that Kamala Harris “whipped Trump’s a** in the debate.”

That opinion isn’t backed up by polling.

Since the debate, Trump has only gained on Kamala in the polling and even surpassed her.

Popovich speaks lies and hypocrisy

But the five-time NBA champion coach wasn’t about to let facts get in the way of his unhinged rant.

Popovich went on to call the 45th President of the United States, “sick” and a “damaged man” before turning his attention to other members of the GOP.

“Those people around him, the (Lindsey) Graham’s, the (Ted) Cruz’s, the (Josh) Hawley’s, (Mark) Meadows, the (Kevin) McCarthy, (Mitch) McConnell – all those guys, all older white men, just so happens to be, they know he’s an a**,” Popovich continued. “They said it. I’m not saying I think they think that, they’ve told us that.”

For the record, Gregg Popovich is not only a white man, he’s also 75 years old.

That’s older than all men he listed except Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY).

In fact, Popovich is 31 years the senior of 44-year-old Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO).

Pop closed by stealing a page out of Vice President Kamala Harris’ playbook and going with the tired, ‘Trump is a threat to democracy, a dictator, the next Hitler, and an evil white racist’ trope.

“They have children and grandchildren, probably, that are going to lose freedom if this guy is elected,” Popovich said. “I’m not talking about a policy; I’m talking about the idea of our country.”

Pop closed by urging everyone to go to the polls on Election Day and cast their ballot for President Joe Biden’s Border Czar.
