Back in March of 2020, Joe Biden placed Kamala Harris in charge of solving the border crisis.
However, Harris has been asleep at the wheel.
And now Americans are facing the worst border crisis in the country’s history.
The Biden administration’s refusal to secure the border has allowed tens of thousands of illegal aliens to sneak into the country undetected.
Unfortunately, this resulted in a suspected terrorist being released back into the country by Border Patrol agents.
After Isnardo Garcia-Amado entered the country illegally, Border Patrol agents apprehended him in Yuma, Arizona.
However, on April 18, after he promised to show up at a future court date, he was given a GPS monitoring device and released by authorities.
Of course, the reality is that very few of the illegal aliens released actually show up at their future court dates.
Worse yet, the Biden administration makes little to no effort to track them down after they miss their court date.
On April 21, a few days after he was released, the FBI’s Terrorist Screening Center realized that Garcia-Amado was on the federal terrorism watch list.
But it was weeks later, on May 4, when Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) was authorized to arrest him.
And on May 6, Garcia-Amado was arrested in Pinellas County, Florida, nearly 2,000 miles away from where he was apprehended.
A suspected terrorist being allowed to roam freely across the country is a terrifying thought to most Americans.
But Garcia-Amado is just one of the terror suspects who has been arrested.
Thousands of illegal aliens sneak into the country on a daily basis without getting caught.
It only takes one terrorist to cause a catastrophic tragedy.
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis ripped the Biden administration and demanded answers on why a suspected terrorist was allowed to travel over 2,000 miles before finally being apprehended.
“The State of Florida has consistently addressed the Biden Administration for information on illegal alien resettlement in Florida, which the federal government has declined to provide,” DeSantis said.
“We demand to know why DHS released a suspected terrorist into the United States and allowed him to live freely in Florida for weeks,” he stated.
“How many more known or suspected terrorists has the Biden administration allowed into our country?” he wondered.
During an interview with Fox News, Tom Homan, who served as Director of ICE under Donald Trump, said he would have arrested Garcia-Amado within an hour.
According to Homan, Homeland Security’s actions were “inexcusable” in this instance.
But Joe Biden still refuses to solve the border crisis.
And his open borders agenda could be setting up America for a catastrophic disaster.
