With Kamala Harris at the helm as “Border Czar” America has developed the most disastrous border crisis ever.
She’s essentially opened the border to anyone dishonest enough to enter illegally while pretending to look for the “root causes” of why illegal immigrants are pouring in from Central America.
Conveniently enough, she’s taken more trips (ahem, vacations) to Central America than to the border she’s supposed to be securing.
Americans are only beginning to see the catastrophic effects of her gross mismanagement.
A tsunami of illegal aliens and their wares—especially dangerous drugs including fentanyl—have been pouring over our southern border.
Naturally, with a 1,254 mile long border, Texas is at the center of the gargantuan crisis.
With Kamala refusing to lift a finger to do her job, the state’s Republican Governor has been forced to throw unprecedented levels of resources at the problem.
Texas Governor Greg Abbott recently called out Harris and Joe Biden while visiting Eagle Pass—one border city being devastated by the current crisis.
“President Biden has never once even tried to contact me about the border,” Abbott said. “The czar for the border, Kamala Harris, has never once tried to contact me.”
He then pointed out that his last contact with Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas was last February.
“They have no interest in talking to Texas or talking to leaders who are actually on the border. Remember Joe Biden himself has never even been to the border,” he said.
Ironically, the President and Vice President seem to think it’s okay to create a massive crisis and then let citizens in the state of Texas shoulder the burden.
As number two in command, Kamala Harris is supposed to back up Biden and help him with his messiest challenges.
But she can’t even bother to pick up the phone and talk to the governor dealing with the longest stretch of border — even though that’s supposed to be her top priority.
Instead, she’s completely sold on pushing a leftist agenda that’s ultimately ripping American society apart at the seams by rewarding the worst behavior rather than vetting and encouraging legal immigrants entering the country for the right reasons.
Shockingly, Alejandro Mayorkas, the head of Biden administration Department Homeland Security, is following her lead by refusing to bother communicating or coordinating enforcement efforts with the Texas Governor.
In fact, the federal government has completely abandoned border states like Texas.
The Lone Star State has been forced to go as far as building its own state-funded border wall using material left over when Biden canceled President Trump’s border wall project.
Texas has also launched “Operation Lone Star” using its National Guard members and state law enforcement to help guard the border.
Harris’ refusal to even pretend to do her job is a stunning indictment that could end up destroying her career.
