A RINO outside of the usual suspects messed up and it put a huge smile on Donald Trump’s face
D.C. Swamp creatures are full of themselves.
But they just made a foolish move—and revealed the future of the Republican Party in the process.
And Donald Trump can’t stop grinning after this RINO made a huge mistake. But it’s not who you’re thinking.
Donald Trump just scored a massive win against one Republican turncoat who has been a major pain in his side.
Congressman Tom Rice, a so-called Republican from South Carolina, was one of ten House Republicans who turned on Trump and sided with Nancy Pelosi when she pushed her second hoax impeachment trial.
Rice voted to impeach Trump in the second desperate attempt Democrats and establishment RINOs made to kick him out of power.
Rep. Rice claimed he was going along with Speaker Pelosi’s impeachment sham because he blames President Trump for what happened on January 6.
In turn, Trump endorsed his opponent, South Carolina state Senator Russell Fry, over Rice in the state’s June 14 Republican Primary.
Prior to the primary, Rice leaned into his traitorous choice, crowing about his impeachment vote and unleashing increasingly vitriolic and unhinged attacks on President Trump.
In an effort to get as much attention as possible, Rice even gave D.C. gossip site POLITICO an interview where he thrilled leftists with his rantings about Trump’s support of primary challengers—along with the fact that several of the Republicans who tried to impeach him have already retired.
That list includes John Katko, Anthony Gonzalez, Adam Kinzinger, and Fred Upton, already retired.
“He’s purging. He’s purging. He’s trying to set the Republican Party up as a bunch of yes-men loyalists,” Rice said. “Think about that. That’s scary.”
Then, Rice went on to attack Trump in highly-personal terms.
“Trump, like no other person I’ve ever met, is the most spiteful and petty and vengeful,” he claimed.
Rice then told POLITICO that he voted to impeach President Trump because he considered Trump’s efforts to challenge the results of the 2020 election as tyrannical.
“He hadn’t shown himself to be a tyrant before that,” Rep. Rice argued. “I don’t think he was a tyrant before that. I do think he’s a narcissist. He craves attention. He hates to lose.”
The Congressman went as far as accusing Trump of trying to do what leftists are constantly attempting.
“He tore up the Constitution—or tried to, acted like a dictator,” he Rice said.
But when the votes were tallied in South Carolina on Tuesday night, Republicans sent a clear message about who they think is full of hot air.
Trump’s pick, State Senator Fry obliterated Congressman Rice at the ballot box, defeating him by more that 25-points with the numbers coming at 51% for Fry compared to 25% for Rice.
That margin of victory means Fry won’t even have to defend himself in a runoff election.
Rep. Rice’s defeat is shaking the entire Washington D.C. establishment and making it clear the GOP base isn’t willing to put up with Never-Trump RINOs out to trash President Trump and suck up to Democrats along with the corporate-controlled media.
Wanna be president Never-Trumpers like Governor Larry Hogan from Maryland and Senator Ben Sasse from Nebraska better be taking notes.
There is no viable path forward for Trump haters wanting to lead the GOP.
