An Antifa radical in Salt Lake City has been charged with murder after a violent protest incident left an innocent man dead, highlighting the deadly consequences of left-wing extremism.
The radical Left has been pushing violence for years.
Now one of their own has blood on his hands.
And a Salt Lake City Antifa radical just got charged with murder after this terrifying attack.
Antifa supporter sparks deadly chaos at Salt Lake City protest
Arturo Gamboa thought he could intimidate people with his radical left-wing politics and threats of violence.
Instead, his dangerous actions at a Salt Lake City protest led to the tragic death of an innocent man.
Gamboa has been charged with murder after a deadly shooting at Salt Lake City’s "No Kings" protest that left 39-year-old Arthur Ah Loo dead.
The shocking details of what happened reveal just how far the radical Left will go to push their violent agenda.
The Salt Lake Tribune reported that Gamboa arrived at the protest with a gas mask and an AR-15-style rifle concealed in a backpack.
Eyewitnesses described how Gamboa suddenly appeared from behind a wall and charged toward the crowd while brandishing the weapon.
An event security volunteer wearing a high-visibility vest responded to the perceived threat by drawing a handgun and opening fire.
The peacekeeper, who was wearing a high-visibility vest, opened fire with a handgun, striking Gamboa and inadvertently hitting Arthur Ah Loo.
Ah Loo was rushed to the hospital but died from his injuries.
Gamboa suffered only a minor wound, was treated, and then booked into the Salt Lake County Jail on murder charges.
Police haven’t said whether Gamboa actually intended to open fire on the crowd.
But they made it clear that his reckless and threatening actions directly caused the chain of events that ended in tragedy.
Facebook posts reveal Gamboa’s radical Antifa ideology
A Facebook page with Gamboa’s name reveals the depth of his radical left-wing beliefs and support for violent Antifa tactics.
In a June 2020 Facebook post, Gamboa shared a pro-Antifa message that read: "Antifa means anti-fascist. If you are anti-antifa then you are pro-fascist… If you support Trump, you support a fascist. Thank you for coming to my TED talk."
That same day, Gamboa posted an even more disturbing call to reject America’s democratic process entirely.
"Quit playing the electoral game. They use their two-faced tricks to pacify us. Justice must be taken into the hands of the people, by any means necessary," Gamboa wrote.
The phrase "by any means necessary" has long been a rallying cry for violent extremists who believe they can justify any action – including murder – to advance their political agenda.
Gamboa was a drummer in a leftist punk band called Rade and grew up in Utah with a Venezuelan immigrant father.
In an interview with Slug Mag, Gamboa expressed his anti-American views, saying the system isn’t "fundamentally broken—it’s perfect. This is exactly how the system is meant to function. The American system is a steam train that’s always been fueled by black and brown bodies."
Records show Gamboa actively participated in Black Lives Matter demonstrations during the 2020 protests that resulted in widespread property damage nationwide.
His band’s lyrics and public statements frequently pushed anti-capitalist, anti-police, and revolutionary themes.
The deadly consequences of radical left-wing violence
The tragic shooting at the Salt Lake City protest shows what happens when radical left-wing rhetoric turns into action.
Gamboa’s social media posts and public statements reveal someone who had been radicalized by years of anti-American propaganda from the Left.
He rejected the democratic process and called for "justice" to be taken "by any means necessary."
When someone embraces that kind of extremist ideology, it’s only a matter of time before they act on it.
The "No Kings" protest had organized security in the form of "peacekeepers" who were aware of potential threats.
Salt Lake City police were also aware of the security setup in advance.
But even with these precautions, Gamboa’s reckless actions still resulted in the death of an innocent man.
The peacekeeper who fired the shots is cooperating with police, according to Salt Lake City Police Chief Brian Redd.
While the peacekeeper was trying to stop what appeared to be an imminent threat, an innocent person still lost his life because of Gamboa’s dangerous behavior.
The radical Left has spent years encouraging violence and extremism.
They’ve glorified Antifa as "anti-fascist" while ignoring the group’s long history of violent attacks on innocent Americans.
They’ve pushed rhetoric about taking justice "by any means necessary" while refusing to condemn the violence that inevitably follows.
Arthur Ah Loo paid the ultimate price for the Left’s dangerous game of encouraging political violence.
His death should serve as a wake-up call about the deadly consequences of radical left-wing extremism.
But don’t expect the mainstream media to connect the dots between years of violent rhetoric from the Left and tragedies like this.
They’re too busy protecting their political allies to acknowledge the monster they’ve created.
The blood is on their hands too.
