With Donald Trump no longer in office, Ron DeSantis has become a top new boogeyman for the Left.
But the Left’s attacks only make DeSantis stronger.
And now a skeleton from Biden’s closet popped up after he picked a fight with Ron DeSantis.
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is expected to sign legislation into law any day now that would stop radical left-wing activists from brainwashing children with the transgender or homosexual agenda for students in kindergarten through third grade.
Because the legislation prevents the Left from indoctrinating children, the Biden administration is referring to it as “bigoted.”
During a press conference, New York Post reporter Steven Nelson asked Jen Psaki to comment about the legislation Joe Biden voted for in 1994 that was far more restrictive than the Florida legislation because it actually banned all federal funds from promoting the homosexual lifestyle.
“Regarding the Florida bill: In 1994, when many of us in this room were in school, President Biden actually voted for a much broader restriction that banned federal funds from being used for, quote, “the promotion of homosexuality as a positive lifestyle alternative,” Nelson asked.
In an effort to dodge the question, Psaki claimed Biden attacking the current legislation was all that mattered at the current time.
“Well, I think that you have seen the President speak passionately about his view that a bill like this — a bill that would discriminate against families, against kids, put these kids in a position of not getting the support they need at a time where that’s exactly what they need — is discriminatory. It’s a form of bullying. It is horrific. I mean, the President has spoken to that,” Psaki responded.
However, Nelson refused to back down from his question, demanding Psaki explain why Biden supported the same policy he now condemns:
I think what’s important to note here is how outspoken the President has been against discrimination against kids, against members of the LGBTQI+ community. And what we’re looking at here is a bill that would propagate misinformed, hateful policies and impact children…
So that’s the question I hope — maybe you can pose that to some of the leaders in Florida. Maybe they’ll return your phone calls. And I’ll look forward to having a conversation with you.
The reality is that the Democrats used to believe, as did folks from all political backgrounds, that teachers had no business indoctrinating children with lessons about gender identity and sexual orientation.
But today the Democrat Party is controlled by the far Left.
And any politician who wants to advance in the ranks must subscribe to their sick, bizarre agenda.
