Everyone in the entertainment industry seems to want to weigh in on the Presidential election, and it’s overwhelmingly with predictable left-wing takes.
That’s why many Americans usually pay little attention to their favorite musicians’ political opinions, though.
But a huge grammy-winning star just spit out this surprise statement about Kamala Harris that left everyone’s jaws on the floor.
Will the real Slim Shady infuriate more fans
Marshall Bruce Mathers, known as Eminem or “Slim Shady,” is one of the most successful rappers of all time.
He is one of the first white guys to have a successful rap career.
Eminem has won 15 Grammy Awards, eight American Music Awards, 17 Billboard Music Awards, a Primetime Emmy Award, and an MTV Europe Music Global Icon Award.
He is well known for using vulgar lyrics in his songs.
His politics have long been aligned with the Democrat Party, and he has previously attacked former President Trump.
Eminem recently introduced former President Barack Obama at a Harris campaign rally in Detroit, Michigan, where the singer grew up.
“As most of you know, the city of Detroit and the home state of Michigan mean a lot to me,” the singer said. “And going into this election, the spotlight is on us more than ever, and I think it’s important to use your voice. So I’m encouraging everybody to get out and vote please.”
But what the singer fails to realize is that the Democrat Party has long since abandoned any support for free speech.
“I also think people shouldn’t be afraid to express their opinions, and I don’t think anyone wants an America where people are worried about retribution, of what people will do if you make your opinion known,” Eminem said. “I think Vice President Harris supports a future for this country where these freedoms and many others will be protected and upheld.”
Democrats’ war on speech
The idea that Kamala Harris and the Democrats will stand for free speech is laughable.
In 2022, Harris’ running mate Tim Walz said, “There’s no guarantee to free speech on misinformation or hate speech.”

Eminem himself has been accused of so-called “homophobic hate speech.”
The Left really started clamping down on supposed “disinformation” during COVID, but the Democrat Party was already headed in that direction back in 2016.
Hillary Clinton called on Americans to be jailed for spreading what she considered “Russian propaganda.”
“I also think there are Americans who are engaged in this kind of propaganda, and whether they should be civilly or even in some cases, criminally charged, is something that would be a better deterrence,” Clinton told MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow in an interview.
Eminem has long opposed Trump, and was even interviewed by the Secret Service over some of his violent lyrics directed at the President.
The rapper has a record of multiple arrests and has been the subject of several lawsuits.
Democrats may not have a problem with any of Eminem’s speech currently, but if he ever stops carrying their water, he could be in for a rude awakening.
Anyone who thinks the modern Democrat Party is the party of free-speech is delusional.
