A top Clinton family insider just exposed one terrifying fact about the socialist who just destroyed Andrew Cuomo

Former Clinton pollster Mark Penn revealed a chilling truth about the radical socialist who shocked New York by defeating Andrew Cuomo and the consequences that will follow.

The Democrat Party just went completely off the rails in New York City.

A radical socialist candidate just pulled off a shocking victory that has party leaders scrambling.

And a top Clinton family insider just exposed one terrifying fact about the socialist who just destroyed Andrew Cuomo.

Socialist candidate stuns political establishment with primary victory

Zohran Mamdani declared victory in New York City’s Democratic mayoral primary Tuesday night after Andrew Cuomo conceded the race in a stunning upset, sending shockwaves through the Democrat establishment.

The 33-year-old assemblyman took a commanding lead in the first round of ranked choice voting, despite being virtually unknown when the race began.

The socialist victory sends shockwaves through the Democrat establishment as Mamdani’s radical agenda triumphs over traditional party leaders.

The victory represents a complete rejection of the scandal-plagued former governor who had been leading in polls for months before Mamdani’s late surge captured the imagination of young progressives across the five boroughs.

Mark Penn warns of catastrophic consequences for Democrats

Veteran pollster Mark Penn – who made his name as the polling advisor on campaigns for both Bill and Hillary Clinton – sounded the alarm about what Mamdani’s victory means for the Democrat Party’s future on Fox News.

"This is a big problem and there is a lot of panic, I think, in New York generally in terms of what can they do, how can they get someone in the general election," Penn warned during an appearance on The Ingraham Angle.

Penn exposed the devastating reality that Democrat leaders are grappling with after watching their party get captured by the radical Left.

"This is a really bad turn for the Democratic Party if something isn’t figured out here before election day," Penn stated bluntly.

The seasoned political strategist pointed out that the primary system had been manipulated to favor extreme candidates who can mobilize small numbers of activist voters rather than appeal to mainstream Democrats.

"Right now you have a city of 8 million people, 400,000 votes one way or the other is determining an extreme move to the left," Penn explained.

Socialist agenda promises to bankrupt New York City

Mamdani’s radical platform reads like a socialist wish list that would fundamentally transform America’s largest city into a government-controlled experiment.

He has promised to immediately freeze rent prices for more than 2 million New Yorkers living in rent-stabilized apartments, implement free public transit, create a network of city-owned grocery stores designed to undercut private businesses and institute free universal childcare for children from ages 6 weeks to 5 years.

The democratic socialist also wants to raise New York City’s minimum wage to $30 an hour by 2030, which would destroy small businesses already struggling with high costs and regulations.

His platform includes making city buses free, freezing rent increases on rent-stabilized apartments and opening city-run grocery stores — all funded by a $10 billion tax hike on businesses and the superrich.

Mamdani has also pledged to kick ICE out of all city facilities and end any cooperation with federal immigration enforcement, essentially declaring New York a sanctuary for illegal aliens.

In a resurfaced May 2022 tweet, Mamdani wrote simply, "We need to ban all guns," showing his extreme position on Second Amendment rights.

The socialist candidate has also proposed spending $65 million on "gender-affirming care" for both transgender youth and adults, including controversial sex change surgeries and hormone treatments for minors.

Bernie Sanders and AOC celebrate socialist victory

The victory represents a massive win for the Bernie Sanders wing of the Democrat Party that has been pushing the party further and further to the Left.

Senator Bernie Sanders threw his support behind Zohran Mamdani’s mayoral campaign, helping the socialist candidate gain momentum among progressive voters.

She appeared at a rally for Mamdani, where she voiced her support for his candidacy and criticized his main opponent, former governor Andrew Cuomo, showing how the radical wing of the party has mobilized behind socialist candidates.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez endorsed Mamdani and appeared at rallies attacking more moderate Democrats, demonstrating how the squad continues to push the Democrat Party toward extremist positions.

"We need a new politics and new leadership which is prepared to stand up to powerful corporate interests and fight for the working class," Sanders said in a statement supporting Mamdani’s candidacy.

The socialist senator praised Mamdani for running a campaign "centered on the construction of 200,000 new affordable housing units, a rent freeze, free public buses, cutting fines and fees for small businesses, investing in citywide mental health services, city-owned grocery stores, universal free childcare and a minimum wage increase."

Controversial positions on Israel spark outrage

Mamdani has taken extreme positions on Israel that align with the anti-Israel wing of the Democrat Party, raising serious concerns about antisemitism within Democratic ranks.

Mamdani’s extreme political views include calling Israel’s military actions in Gaza "genocide," demanding a complete ban on firearms, and proposing to spend tens of millions of taxpayer dollars on sex change procedures for both minors and adults — positions that most New Yorkers would find completely unacceptable.

Mamdani has been a vocal critic of Israel’s attacks on Gaza — inserting himself in a contentious issue that has divided the Democratic Party. He stirred controversy by refusing to condemn the slogan "Globalize the intifada" during a podcast with The Bulwark.

"To me, ultimately, what I hear in so many is a desperate desire for equality and equal rights in standing up for Palestinian human rights," said Mamdani, a far-left assemblyman from Queens who has long been an outspoken critic of Israel.

In 2025, Mamdani declined to sign on to the annual New York Assembly resolution celebrating the anniversary of Israel’s founding because it contained the wording that Israel "continues to strive for peace with security and dignity for itself, its neighbors and throughout the world".

His extreme positions on Israel have drawn criticism from Jewish leaders who worry about rising antisemitism in the Democrat Party.

Republicans celebrate Democrat Party meltdown

Republicans are celebrating because Mamdani’s extreme socialist positions will serve as a perfect example of how far Left the Democrat Party has moved, giving the GOP powerful ammunition to use against Democrats across the country.

The victory hands Republicans a perfect example of how far Left the Democrat Party has moved, giving them ammunition to use against Democrats nationwide.

GOP leaders are already pointing to Mamdani’s socialist agenda as proof that the Democrat Party has been captured by radical extremists who want to fundamentally transform America.

Mark Penn’s warning about the consequences for Democrats couldn’t be clearer – when a city of 8 million people can be controlled by 400,000 radical activists, the entire political system has been rigged to favor extremist candidates over mainstream Americans.

The Mamdani victory represents everything that’s wrong with the modern Democrat Party – a small group of radical activists imposing their socialist agenda on millions of Americans who never asked for it.
