Most Democrats would rather eat shards of glass than admit that Donald Trump has ever been right about anything.
So, when one Democrat Senator made a shocking admission many Washington, D.C. insiders were left speechless.
And the implications of the situation should give every American chills.
With their commonwealth flanking one side of the District of Columbia, Virginia politicians are close to the center of power in American Politics.
They also have relatively easy access to information both from political insiders and can network with countless government contractors both before and after they are elected to office.
Virginia Senator Mark Warner (D-VA) is the ultimate beltway insider with access to power as head of the United States Senate Intelligence Committee and as with a massive network in the business world as the second wealthiest member of Congress.
Apparently, what he’s learned through those powerful connections is so serious he’s willing to put aside political differences to reiterate a serious warning Donald Trump first issued.
“This is not something you would normally hear me say, but Donald Trump was right on TikTok years ago,” Warner said during a trip to Australia according to The Sydney Morning Herald.
The former Virginia even went as far as warning that the threat China poses online may even eclipse war.
“If your country uses Huawei, if your kids are on TikTok, if your population uses WeChat as a social media platform, the ability for China to have undue influence is, I think, a much greater challenge and a much more immediate threat than any kind of actual, armed conflict.”
He then went on to make a valid point about China’s creepy approach of keeping tabs on their citizens.
“China having this kind of technology domination in a number of countries ought to scare the heck out of us because we’ve seen the kind of Orwellian surveillance state they’ve already created within China,” he explained.
That observation is rich coming from someone in Joe Biden’s party.
Biden not only made a failed attempt to establish a “Disinformation Governance Board,” but there’s also credible evidence that his son, Hunter, closed a series of deals with high-level Communists with ties to China’s spy agency.
But with voters increasingly antsy, it’s no surprise Warner is leading the charge to focus on issues actually bothering voters rather than an unhinged radical leftist agenda.
The question now is whether Warner is willing to not only talk a big game, but also ensure the US government doesn’t create—or continue to secretly maintain—a surveillance state every bit as bad as what China’s Communists have been able to dream up.
