But Jean-Pierre is floundering at the worst possible time for Joe Biden.
A flustered Jean-Pierre attempted to spin her way out of the fiasco created when the first batch of classified documents were discovered at the Penn Biden Center.
Jean-Pierre said the matter was now in the hands of a Special Counsel appointed by Merrick Garland because Biden’s staff had finished their search for more classified documents.
But later that evening, news broke that more classified documents were found in the garage of Biden’s home in Delaware next to his Corvette.
Jean-Pierre broke down when NBC News asked why the White House waited months to disclose the discovery of classified documents since they were first discovered in November before the Midterm elections.
“Because it’s an ongoing process. Because, again, it’s an ongoing process. There is a process here. The Department of Justice is independent. We respect that process,” a stammering Jean-Pierre replied.
One former advisor to Bill Clinton is calling on Karine Jean-Pierre to be pushed aside on dealing with the classified documents scandal.
Former White House strategist for Clinton Karen Finney suggested that Joe Biden should appoint a special spokesman with the sole job of focusing on this scandal.
“The White House should consider appointing a separate spokesperson to handle all questions related to this matter,” Finney said. “If someone else is handling questions related to that matter, you still have a press briefing where you’re able to communicate the issues of the day that you’re trying to get out.”
During the most pressing challenge of Jean-Pierre’s time as Press Secretary, a top advisor to Bill Clinton is publicly admitting that she is unable to handle the job.
Karine Jean-Pierre is a failure.
And even Democrats are realizing she is a disaster for the Biden administration.
