The GOP establishment will never admit it.
But Donald Trump is the leader of the Republican Party.
And a top Republican in one battleground state never expected to receive this scathing letter from Donald Trump.
One of the most closely-contested Senate races in the nation this year is Arizona, where whichever party wins will likely gain control of the Upper Chamber in Congress.
Attorney General Mark Brnovich, businessman Jim Lamon, and conservative outsider Blake Masters are running in the upcoming Republican Primary for Senate in Arizona.
Brnovich, Lamon, and their establishment pals just got some bad news.
Donald Trump recently joined tech titan Peter Thiel in endorsing Blake Masters.

Of course, Donald Trump’s endorsement is currently the most valuable commodity in GOP politics.
And now Donald Trump is making sure that only the candidates he endorses receive the benefits of having him in their corner.
In Arizona, Donald Trump sent a cease-and-desist letter to Mark Brnovich demanding that he stop using his name, image, and likeness in fundraising appeals.
“Your use of President Trump’s name, image, and/or likeness is likely to deceive individuals into believing President Trump supports, endorses, or otherwise promotes your candidacy for U.S. Senate in Arizona — he does not,” the letter read.
Trump’s opposition to Brnovich is not surprising.
After Joe Biden narrowly won Arizona by around 10,000 votes, Brnovich failed to turn up any evidence of the fraud that would have swung the outcome of the election in Biden’s favor.
Brnovich claimed there was “no evidence, there are no facts that would lead anyone to believe that the election results will change.”
In his endorsement of Masters, President Trump wrote that Masters “understands what took place in the 2020 Presidential Election, and that it was Rigged and Stolen.”
Tucker Carlson often has Masters on his program, where he has proven that not only is he a bonafide supporter of Trump’s America First agenda, but he also opposes gun control, endless funding for Biden’s wars, and amnesty for illegal aliens.
Following Trump’s endorsement, polls show Masters is now leading in the GOP Primary race.
Donald Trump’s letter is intended to stop Brnovich from confusing voters into thinking he has the support of the former President.
