The last few months were rough on Kamala Harris’ presidential ambitions as polls revealed her as the least popular Vice President in the past 50 years.
Harris hoped that might change with the Biden administration’s utter failure managing the U.S. withdrawal in Afghanistan.
But a video resurfaced that could now ruin any chance of Kamala Harris ever becoming President.
Kamala Harris wants the public to think she’s an independent voice within the Biden administration and bears no blame in the Taliban’s blitz into Kabul.
But during an interview with CNN back in April, Kamala Harris bragged about being the last person in the room when Joe Biden decided to scrap Donald Trump’s plan for the orderly withdrawal of American troops from Afghanistan by May 1.
Instead, Biden and Harris decided to set up a politically-motivated photo-op with a new September 11 withdrawal date.
CNN interview with Kamala Harris 4/25 ->
DANA BASH: He just made a really big decision, Afghanistan.
HARRIS: Yes.
BASH: Were you the last person in the room?
HARRIS: Yes.
BASH: And you feel comfortable?
HARRIS: I do.

Harris told host Dana Bash, “This is a President who has an extraordinary amount of courage. He is someone who I have seen over and over again make decisions based on what he truly believes — based on his years of doing this work and studying these issues, what he truly believes is the right thing to do.”
“We’ll not conduct a hasty rush to the exit. We’ll do it. We’ll do it responsibly, deliberately and safely. And we will do it in full coordination with our allies and partners who now have more forces in Afghanistan than we do. The Taliban should know that if they attack us as we draw down, we will defend ourselves and our partners with all the tools at our disposal,” Biden stated.
However, this turned out to be a lie, with images from Afghanistan showing members of the Taliban lounging around the Presidential palace while Afghans plunged to their deaths trying to escape the country by clinging to the side of an airplane.
Should Kamala Harris run for the Democratic nomination in 2024, she will have to defend the disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan every bit as much as Joe Biden.
