A woke new trend had Elon Musk laughing all the way to the bank

But now there’s a new way Elon Musk’s haters may end up getting trolled.

These days, the radical Left considers Elon Musk to be a real-life supervillain.

That wasn’t always the case.

But now this woke new trend has Elon Musk laughing all the way to the bank and there’s a new way his haters could be getting trolled.

Leftists and their electric cars

The Left loves electric vehicles.

Many Democrat politicians have sought to ban gas-powered vehicles and mandate electric cars.

For many leftists, driving an electric car has become a major part of their identity.

Many of them get a smug sense of superiority, believing they are doing their part to “save the planet.”

This attitude was perfectly encapsulated by the cartoon South park during the episode “smug alert.”

But now many leftists driving electric cars have a major problem on their hands.

Elon Musk owns Tesla, one of the largest electric vehicle manufacturers.

Many famous leftists own a Tesla, including Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez who Elon Musk has repeatedly trolled.

Musk fell out of favor with the Left after he started fighting back against Big Tech censorship and bought Twitter to end the platform’s censorship of conservatives.

This year, Musk got fully on board the Trump Train, and now the Left absolutely hates him.

Comedian Dean Delray trolled leftists in a set in which he said the “T” in Tesla stands for “Trump” and that Tesla owners helped pay for the last six months of Trump’s Presidential campaign.

Musk spent $250 million to help get Donald Trump elected, and is now set to take charge of the new “Department of Government Efficiency” under the Trump administration.

Suddenly, becoming a Tesla owner no longer carried the same meaning.

Leftist Tesla owners are now desperate to show their progressive bonafides and have adopted a new trend to show their disapproval of Elon Musk.

Anti-Elon stickers

Matthew Hiller, the owner of the Etsy shop Mad Puffer Stickers, has found a way to cash in on the anti-Musk fervor of leftist Tesla Owners.

His shop sells anti-Musk themed bumper stickers with expressions such as “I Bought This Before We Knew Elon Was Crazy” and “anti-Musk Tesla Club.”

“So I’m like, there’s no way I’m buying a Tesla: I don’t want to give this guy a penny,” he said. “Then I started thinking, there’s got to be so many people who are just embarrassed, who have a Tesla already, and they’re like, ‘Oh my god, now I’m repping this guy. I don’t want to endorse anything this guy stands for,’” Hiller said, according to the New York Times.

He has sold around 18,000 of the stickers to Tesla owners.

“It’s become a pretty good side business,” Hiller said.

Meanwhile, Elon Musk joining the Trump team has encouraged some red-blooded gas-guzler lovers to embrace Tesla.

“I’ve always been against E.V.s. — the oil patch is what puts food on my family’s table,” said Sean Ziese. “During the Republican National Convention, Trump said that Elon is going to start supporting conservatives. I told my wife, ‘If Elon is going to start supporting conservatives and free speech, I’m going to start supporting Elon, even though I hate E.V.s.’”

Ziese recently bought a Tesla CyberTruck.
