Adam Schiff led the phony impeachment sham against Donald Trump in the U.S. House.
Democrats knew he would do anything, including flat-out lie, to remove Trump from office.
But Adam Schiff made a stunning admission to a Trump ally on The View and you won’t believe the reaction.
During a recent episode of ABC’s The View, former State Department spokesperson under Donald Trump, Morgan Ortagus, appeared as the conservative host of the show for the day.
But it also happened to be the same day Adam Schiff appeared as a guest on the show.
Ortagus didn’t shy away from confronting Adam Schiff about him reading the Steele Dossier into the Congressional Record even though special counsel John Durham recently proved the dossier was a hoax paid for and put together by Hillary Clinton’s Presidential campaign.
Instead of accepting accountability for promoting the fake dossier, Schiff dodged the question and listed off other reports that also found no evidence of collusion between Russia and the Trump campaign.
Ortagus blasted Schiff for spending the past few years peddling lies about possessing evidence of the Trump campaign colluding with Russia.
“You saw this information for years by promoting this. That’s what Republicans and what people who entrusted you as the Intel Committee Chair are so confused about your culpability in all of this,” Ortagus responded.
Schiff tried to weasel out, claiming it was perfectly reasonable to investigate Steele’s charges of collusion.
But he stumbled into a shocking admission.
“Well, I completely disagree with you about your promise,” Schiff answered. “It’s one thing to say allegations should be investigated and they were. It’s another thing we should have foreseen in advance that people were lying to Christopher Steele which would have been impossible.”
That’s Adam Schiff admitting the Steele Dossier was a hoax.
But he didn’t stop there.
Schiff continued listing off some of the greatest hoaxes the Democrats used to try to impeach and defeat Donald Trump.
“But let’s not use that as a smokescreen to somehow shield Donald Trump’s culpability for inviting Russia to help him in the election which they did, trying to force Ukraine into helping him in the next election, which he did. Into inciting an erection, insurrection which he did,” Schiff continued. “None of that is undercut. None of that serious misconduct is in any way diminished by the fact that people lied to Christopher Steele.”
After Schiff claimed that nothing about Trump’s alleged misconduct was undercut by Steele’s dossier being a hoax, Ortagus shut him up quickly.
“No. I think just your credibility is,” Ortagus shot back.
