The Fake News Media have spent the last 72 hours blasting coverage on another scandal that they think will take down President Trump.
But it was all for not.
Because after the media firestorm surrounding the Trump tapes, Bob Woodward has come forward with this shocking confession.
The Fake News Media has been focused entirely on a March 19 quote of Donald Trump.
“Well, I think Bob, really to be honest with you . . . I wanted to always play it down,” Trump said. “I still like playing it down, because I don’t want to create a panic.”
The media have been attacking Trump non-stop and framing his comments on the coronavirus in such a way to try and pin the blame on him for any lives lost.
Most Americans understand that in saying this, Trump was trying to avoid inciting manic hysteria across the nation – although the media has done that anyway by fear-mongering and hasn’t stopped for months now.
Now some fake news reporters are accusing Woodward of having some of the blood on his hands for having held out on telling anyone about Trump “downplaying the virus.”
This whole narrative fell flat when Woodward did an interview with The Washington Post.
Woodward then admitted there was no “cover-up” and prior to March 19, Trump had already delivered an official address to the American people going over the very serious danger the virus posed and the actions his administration were taking.
The Washington Post reports:
Asked directly whether earlier publication of his interviews would have saved lived, Woodward responded, “No! How?” He pointed out that Trump made that comment on March 19, and he had already made an Oval Office address on March 11. Confirmed cases were taking off.
Woodward did say that if anything he gathered was a legitimate public health issue, he would have gone to The Post and sought to have it published forthwith.
As far as to whether it was a lie from the President or a real health crisis – “It wasn’t. It wasn’t,” Woodward told The Post.
Woodward went as far as to admit his nefarious intentions of writing his new book on President Trump to The Post’s Erik Wemple.
“What’s the demarcation line? The election he says,” Wemple added when talking about his interview with Woodward.
That’s right, Woodward’s latest book is nothing more than an unfounded election year political hit piece.
With the Left’s woke mob craving any and all things anti-Trump, Woodward’s book was undoubtedly released at the right time to sell copies, but as far as ground-breaking revelations of the inner workings of the Trump administration – Woodward knows nothing and was finally forced to admit it.
