Now Alejandro Mayorkas found a bureaucrat literally asleep on the job to become the administration’s latest border crisis scapegoat.

Joe Biden has been chomping at the bit to end the Trump-era program that allows Customs and Border Patrol agents to turn away illegals at the border for public health reasons.
He was held back when he first entered office after a federal judge blocked the move to rescind Title 42 authority.
Biden’s administration—with unexplainable dedication—still managed to find loopholes to allow almost two-thirds of illegal aliens in anyway.
Now an appeals court has reversed a conservative judge’s decision, and given the Biden administration the green light to fully open the floodgates at the southern border.
But in spite of the corporate-controlled media’s attempts to suppress news about the massive humanitarian crisis Biden has created at the border, average Americans—including some Democrats—are starting to question why the government is prioritizing illegals over citizens.
That’s becoming an especially controversial topic as it becomes increasingly apparent how far American school children fell behind during pandemic lockdowns.
So now Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas is playing a smoke and mirrors game by making it look like he’s cleaning house.
White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre recently announced that Christopher Magnus, the Commissioner of U.S. Customs and Border Protection has resigned.
Fox News got the inside scoop from a government source who says Mayorkas told Magnus to resign or he’d get fired.
Fox News even got its hands on an email that Magnus sent to staff claiming he wasn’t willing to be pushed out of the administration.
“I want to make this clear: I have no plans to resign as CBP Commissioner. I didn’t take this job as a resume builder. I came to Washington, DC— moved my family here— because I care about this agency, its mission, and the goals of this Administration,” he wrote.
Magnus had only been on the job for 10 months before being forced to resign.
Last month Politico reported that the commissioner had a bad habit of falling asleep during meetings.
Obviously, a lazy bureaucrat is the last thing any taxpayer needs to be paying for so it sounds like a case of good riddance.
However, in this case Americans may have more to fear if his replacement is especially ambitious.
In the past government fiscal year an estimated 2.4 million illegal aliens poured into the United States.
Now Americans are wondering how much worse it will be if the next commissioner is dead set on energetically implementing Joe Biden’s disastrous agenda.
