Alejandro Mayorkas’ past is about to catch up with him in a big way

A Republican governor dropped one career-ending bombshell on Kamala Harris

Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas deliberately broke the law since his first day on the job.

Now his dangerous and illegal policies are posing a massive danger.

And his past is about to catch up with him in a big way.

House Republicans just slapped Alejandro Mayorkas with a massive insult he richly deserves.

This year the dumpster fire on the United States’ southern border is poised to blow up.

Even though the past two years have set shocking records when it comes to illegal aliens crossing the border in swarms, everything is in place for 2023 to become the worst year yet.

On day one in office President Joe Biden started thrusting America’s southern border into complete chaos.

One of his worst moves—of many—was making Alejandro Mayorkas his Department of Homeland Security (DHS) chief.

Mayorkas completely blew off his job description and instead used his position of power to create Joe Biden’s illegal—and illogical—open borders policy.

Now it looks like Secretary Mayorkas is about to pay for his wildly irresponsible actions as they’ve landed him directly in the crosshairs of the new Republican majority in the House.

Rep. Pat Fallon (R-TX) is preparing to go after Mayorkas with three articles of Impeachment.

While the Homeland Security Secretary is likely infuriated to be facing repercussions for his actions, he was already warned last year that Republicans would be coming after him for his gross negligence if they managed to regain control of Congress.

Now Rep. Fallon is delivering on that promise.

“Since day one, Secretary Mayorkas’s policies have undermined law enforcement activities at our southern border,” Fallon announced in a statement released to Fox News. “From perjuring himself before Congress about maintaining operational control of the border to the infamous ‘whip-gate’ slander against our border patrol agents, Secretary Mayorkas has proven time and time again that he is unfit to lead the Department of Homeland Security.”

With the first article of Impeachment, Fallon is going after Mayorkas for failing to execute the “Secure the Fence Act of 2006.”

That law “requires the Secretary of Homeland Security to maintain operational control over the entire international land and maritime borders of the United States.”

Rather than do his job, Secretary Mayorkas merely pretended to by claiming during a Congressional hearing that the U.S. has “operational control” of the border.

That was a bold claim, especially to make under oath, considering the record numbers of illegal aliens, criminals, drugs, and terrorists flowing over the border.

Fallon was quick to call him out for the falsehood and made the second article of Impeachment against Mayorkas violating “his constitutional oath, willfully provided perjurious, false, and misleading testimony to Congress.”

Not once, but twice last year, Secretary Mayorkas testified before Congress—under oath—that “the border is secure.”

The third article of Impeachment against Mayorkas is for slandering Border Patrol agents who were falsely accused of whipping illegal aliens from Haiti while patrolling on horseback.

But it turns out from the beginning both Mayorkas and the Biden regime knew it was a tall tale invented to garner support for their leftist goals.

“The 511-page report by the U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s Office of Personal Responsibility found ‘no evidence that [Border Patrol agents] involved in this incident struck, intentionally or otherwise, any migrant with their reins,’” Fallon noted. “Secretary Mayorkas slandered his own Border Patrol agents and TXDPS Troopers involved in this incident, contributing to a further decrease in already-low morale among agents.”

This isn’t Rep. Fallon’s first attempt to hold Mayorkas accountable.

He was joined by 11 other House Republicans last year who co-sponsored articles of Impeachment against Mayorkas over his dereliction of duty.

But this time, with the balance of power shifted, Alejandro Mayorkas is staring down Impeachment thanks to his repeated lies and destructive actions during the worst border crisis in the country’s history.
