New York’s bartender turned Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is well known for her bizarre statements.
But there simply may be no coming back from this latest one.
Because Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez could be nearing the end after this embarrassing video came out.
Joe Biden’s approval numbers continue to hit rock bottom.
And as the economy gets even worse, the American people are turning against him in droves.
Even Democrat mouthpiece CNN is now admitting there may be no building back better for Biden’s poll numbers.
The latest polls have Biden losing to almost every one of the Republican presidential candidates.
The hard-hit American people know Joe Biden’s radical policies bear the blame for rising prices and growing shortages.
It was Joe Biden’s trillion in socialist spending that devalued the dollar by dumping all that new money into the economy.
And it is Biden’s “green” policies that are destroying many segments of the economy with higher prices, less availability, and increased federal oversight.
Many Democrats have been trying to gaslight the American people into thinking inflation is “cooling” because in the last reports it didn’t increase as much as it had been.
Prices jumped by 3.3 percent when last year inflation was at 7 percent.
But Americans unfortunately know all-to-well that the 3.3 percent price increase this past month is in addition to the 7 percent price hike from a year ago, which means everything is still getting more expensive.
But Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez took a different tact from some of her Democrat comrades.
The New York Congresswoman recently posted a video to her social media account from a radical left-wing group from New Zealand called the Aotearoa Liberation League.
The Aotearoa Liberation League is trying to blame surging inflation on “greedy” corporations looking to make a buck.
“The price of everything keeps going up; meanwhile, the corporations selling those things are making massive profits. The goal of the capitalist is to disconnect these two facts from one another. So they use this concept of inflation,” the video stated.
The leftist group’s video said inflation is an example of “vague-washing,” where elites say, “It can be blamed on anything at all, except for corporate profits, of course.”
“And propaganda around inflation and cost of living is so powerful, that we forget the very basic fact that corporations set the prices for their products. If a corporation raises its prices, and then makes record profits, that’s not some invisible monster. It’s just a bunch of greedy shareholders,” the video added.
“One advocate called it a form of mass gaslighting, and I think that captures it perfectly,” the video continued.
This video’s message echoes the bizarre message Ocasio-Cortez spilled out last year when she falsely claimed inflation was simply “price gouging.”
“A lot of these price increases are potentially due to just straight price gouging by corporations,” Ocasio-Cortez ranted in 2022.
But anyone who knows anything about economics knows corporations do not raise prices in a vacuum.
The fact is, as more money enters the supply, the less valuable it becomes.
This is basic economic law and supply and demand.
As money becomes less valuable, everything becomes more expensive.
Rising gas prices means it becomes more expensive to ship goods and services.
And since companies need to maintain a healthy profit level to avoid mass layoffs, or even going out of business, prices go up.
This is simple economics, and everyone understands Joe Biden devaluing the dollar through his trillions in new socialist spending is to blame.
Well, everyone but AOC.
