For the past two years, Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) and radical members of “The Squad” have driven Democrat Party policy in the House of Representatives.
But rumors are circulating that AOC may be looking for a new job.
And AOC just said she is “not playing coy” about her future in the U.S. House of Representatives in a new bombshell interview.
AOC is one of the biggest stars in the Democrat Party.
For over a year, most political pundits have speculated that AOC has higher political ambitions, with some saying she may run for President and others predicting she will challenge Chuck Schumer for U.S. Senate in a 2022 primary.
AOC’s refusal to put these rumors to bed only serves to fuel the fire even more.
And during a recent interview with Punchbowl News, AOC threw even more fuel on the fire when asked about her political future in the U.S. House of Representatives.
“I’m a no bullsh** kind of person. I’m not playing coy or anything like that,” Ocasio-Cortez began.
“I’m still very much in a place where I’m trying to decide what is the most effective thing I can do to help our Congress, our [political] process, and our country actually address the issues of climate change, health care, wage inequality, etc.,” Ocasio-Cortez added.
And then the host asked AOC what she thought about Chuck Schumer’s performance as Minority Leader.
“It’s a hard thing to say, too. We’ve had to deal with a fascist President and Mitch McConnell,” AOC replied.
Even though AOC won’t flat-out admit she plans to primary Chuck Schumer in 2022, she has often stated that she doesn’t plan to remain in the U.S. House of Representatives forever, leaving the door open to her challenging Chuck Schumer for U.S. Senate in the 2022 Democrat Primary.
