There’s a major fight looming in American politics.
And it’s not between Republicans and Democrats.
That’s because Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez just sent Nancy Pelosi one message that could set off a Civil War within the Democrat Party.
Democrats recently passed a trillion-dollar Trojan horse infrastructure bill and a $3.5 trillion socialist spending bill through the U.S. Senate.
However, Nancy Pelosi is trying to link the two bills together, which is causing major problems for the Speaker.
Far-left Democrats agree with Nancy Pelosi by arguing the only way to hold the House and Senate coalition together is by combining both bills into one massive bill.
But moderate Democrats, who are worried about inflation, sent a letter to Pelosi urging her not to combine the bills and to instead vote on each one of them separately.
This letter infuriated Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez to the point that she posted an ultimatum on social media threatening to kill the infrastructure bill should Pelosi de-link the two spending bills.
If mods want to blow up the infra deal, that’s on them.

Given the Democrats slim majority, Pelosi can only afford to lose four votes in the House, meaning Pelosi can’t hold a separate vote on the infrastructure bill if Ocasio-Cortez and her allies in the squad hold firm in their positions.
On the other hand, if Pelosi moves forward and combines both bills into one, moderate Democrats who are concerned over inflation could decide to vote against the bill.
