Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez left Democrats shell-shocked after one Republican’s jaw-dropping prediction on Real Time

A Republican Congressman went on Bill Maher’s Real Time show and predicted she would "absolutely kick" Chuck Schumer's "a**" in a 2028 primary, calling her the true leader of the Democrat Party amid growing frustration from her constituents.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has been plotting her next power move for months.

The radical socialist is quickly becoming the most influential voice in the Democrat Party.

And one top Republican just made a shocking prediction about Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez on Real Time that turned Chuck Schumer red with rage.

GOP lawmaker crowns AOC as the new Democrat leader

Rep. Mike Lawler (R-NY) dropped a bombshell on Democrat leadership that has Washington, D.C. buzzing after his appearance on Real Time with Bill Maher.

The New York Republican utterly humiliated Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer by crowning AOC as the true leader of the Democrat Party.

“Chuck Schumer has been in elected office for 50 years, 1974, he was first elected — 50 years [ago]. AOC will absolutely kick his ass in a primary,” Lawler declared on Maher’s show.

This wasn’t just idle speculation.

Lawler drove the knife in deeper, making it clear AOC has already taken control of the Democrats’ radical agenda.

“She is the leader of the Democratic Party in this moment, and will continue to be, I think, the biggest driver of where the party goes from a governmental policy standpoint, and that drives many of my colleagues crazy,” Lawler added.

The Republican lawmaker knows the New York political battlefield better than most.

He represents a competitive district in southern New York and has watched AOC’s meteoric rise firsthand.

Political insiders are now buzzing that AOC could challenge Schumer in 2028 when his Senate seat is up for grabs.

But speculation has intensified that she may go after him in 2028 when he’s next up for reelection. Ocasio-Cortez would be eligible for the presidency in 2028 as well.

Schumer’s rise to politics started when he was elected to the New York State Assembly in 1975, then to the U.S. House of Representatives six years later, and finally to the Senate in 1999.

But Schumer’s influence is collapsing, according to Lawler, who brutally mocked the aging Senator’s impotent resistance to President Trump.

“She has tapped into the base of support within the Democratic Party, and you see the juxtaposition between her and Chuck Schumer, ‘I’m writing a strongly worded letter,'” Lawler added, referencing Schumer’s announcement last month that he was writing a stern letter to Trump complaining about the administration’s funding freeze for Harvard University, his alma mater.

The bad blood between AOC and Schumer has been boiling over for months.

In March, Ocasio-Cortez publicly blasted Schumer for daring to compromise with President Trump to avoid a government shutdown.

“There is a deep sense of outrage and betrayal,” Ocasio-Cortez told reporters at the time. “And this is not just about progressive Democrats. This is across the board, the entire party.”

Constituents growing frustrated with AOC’s national ambitions

While Schumer cowers, AOC has teamed up with Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) for a “Fighting the Oligarchy” tour across the country, further fueling buzz about her political future on a national level.

But her constituents back home are getting fed up with her naked political ambitions.

“This woman has done nothing for the community she was once again elected to serve,” Lauro Vazquez of Woodside, Queens, recently told The New York Post.

Another frustrated constituent slammed AOC for being “too busy jet-setting around on private jets screaming about ‘oligarchs’ and setting up her bid for a POTUS run.”

As Democrats flail helplessly against President Trump’s America First agenda, AOC is positioning herself as the party’s new leader – even if that means shoving Chuck Schumer aside.

Lawler’s brutal prediction about AOC’s takeover of Democrat politics signals a nightmare scenario for moderates – a radical socialist party completely under AOC’s control by 2028.

The Democrat establishment is in full panic mode as AOC’s influence grows stronger every day.
