Democrat Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York is one of the most divisive figures in all of United States politics.
She’s a hero to radical Social Justice Warriors on the far-Left – but not so much with the rest of America.
But when the arrogant AOC found out Hispanic voters like this woman more than her, the Congresswoman’s eyes bugged out of her head.
Leftist Brooklyn Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has become the voice of woke America.
She champions every far-Left cause, like her Green New Deal, abortions on-demand for any reasons until birth at tax-payer expense, free college and healthcare for all, puberty blockers and irreversible gender reassignment surgeries for minors, criminal friendly bail reform – the list goes on and on.
She’s even become a common name mentioned when talk of replacing President Joe Biden on the Democrats’s 2024 ticket comes up.
Late Night “comedy” host Stephen Colbert practically begged AOC to make a run for the White House.
However, as much as the radical Left loves AOC, the rest of the country thinks of her as a dangerous clown.
Perhaps that’s why another Hispanic Congresswoman has surpassed the bartender-turned-Representative in popularity.
Survey research firm WPA Intelligence recently conducted a survey for Hispanic-community-focused group “Bienvenido U.S.”
The poll found that freshman Republican Rep. Mayra Flores of Texas has a higher approval rating among Hispanics than AOC.
“One of our most interesting findings was that Flores has a higher net favorability than AOC among Hispanics who know them,” said Media strategist Giancarlo Sopo, who was involved in putting the poll together.
In fact, Flores’ net approval rating is more than double that of AOC’s.
According to the survey, AOC has a +6-approval rating among Hispanic Voters.
However, Flores – who is the first Mexican-born woman to be elected to Congress – scored a +13-approval rating with the same group.
Flores is the first Republican elected in the Rio Grande Valley.
Her popularity is just the latest sign of Democrats driving Hispanic voters – once a key voting bloc in the blue coalition – over to the red team.
Sopo’s firm recently conducted another survey of Latino voters in Texas.
That survey found the majority of registered Hispanic Texas voters said the Republican Party better aligns with their values.
The fact is, the GOP enjoyed a 15-point advantage over the Democrat Party for being most associated with “hard work;” an 8-point lead for supporting small business owners; a 7-point lead for fixing the immigration system; a 3-point lead for “protecting my way of life.”
The same survey also found that more than 60% of Hispanics said they are bothered by the direction of the Democrat Party.
Another 57% of Hispanic voters in the Lone Star State support tougher border security measures.
And, by a 3-to-1 margin, Texas Hispanics support more oil and gas exploration in the Lone Star State.
Americans could find out on November 8 that the migration of Hispanic voters away from Democrats helped the GOP score a massive victory in the Midterms.
