But Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez looked utterly humiliated after her public meltdown, during the House Oversight Committee’ recent hearing on censorship and Hunter Biden’s laptop.
Specifically this week’s round of hearings, the committee chaired by Rep. James Comer (R-KY), focused on Twitter’s censorship of the bombshell New York Post story about Hunter Biden’s infamous laptop from hell during the 2020 election.
Former Twitter executives that guided the company’s decision to suppress the story on the platform testified in front of the committee.
Twitter had the most ruthless Big Tech censorship of the Hunter Biden bombshell during the 2020 election, going so far as to suspend the New York Post’s account and blocking users from sharing the story.
New Twitter CEO Elon Musk’s release of the “Twitter Files” exposed that Twitter’s former leadership and the government worked hand in hand to kill the story to protect Joe Biden.
Yoel Roth, Twitter’s former head of censorship, came clean and admitted the company was wrong to block the story.
The media and Democrats falsely claimed that Hunter Biden’s laptop was “Russian disinformation” to discredit the story.
Now even the media is backtracking and admitting the contents of the laptop are real and Hunter’s own lawyers tacitly admitted the laptop is his.
There’s no doubt that the explosive contents of the laptop that opened a window in the Biden crime family’s influence peddling are real.
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) attempted to damage control over Twitter’s scheme to silence the Hunter Biden laptop story.
For the first time in her brief Congressional career, she’s in the minority party, and thus powerless.
A fuming Ocasio-Cortez publicly embarrassed herself with a disingenuous rant against the investigation during the committee’s hearing.
“I believe that political operatives who sought to inject explosive disinformation with the Washington Post couldn’t get away with it — and now they’re livid,” Ocasio-Cortez railed.
The socialist Congresswoman mixed up the name of the paper that broke the story, the New York Post, with the leftwing Washington Post.
“So, they’ve dragged a social media platform here in Congress,” Ocasio-Cortez raged. “They’re weaponizing the use of this committee so that they can do it again. A whole hearing, about a 24-hour hiccup in a right-wing political operation.”
Far from a “24-hour hiccup,” Twitter suspended the New York Post’s account for 16 days and blocked users from sharing the story for two days.
“That is why we are here right now and it’s just an abuse of public resources and abuse of public time,” Ocasio-Cortez added.
For the first time in the socialist Congresswoman’s career, she expressed concern about wasting taxpayer money.
“We could be talking about health care, we could be talking about bringing down the cost of prescription drugs, we could be talking about abortion rights, civil rights, voting rights, but instead we’re talking about Hunter Biden’s half-fake laptop story,” Ocasio-Cortez said. “I mean, this is an embarrassment.”
Even the Twitter executives at the hearing sheepishly admitted that they shouldn’t have silenced the Hunter Biden laptop story.
Most of Ocasio-Cortez’s comrades on the Left have admitted that Hunter’s laptop is real.
