Corporate America continues to try and embrace the “woke” Left at the expense of losing Conservatives.
From supporting radical groups like Black Lives Matter to blatantly pandering to LGBTQ radicals, it seems corporate CEOs could care less what much of America thinks as long as their crony politicians fuel their ever-larger monopolies.
Now American conservatives got attacked in a disgusting turn from Toyota no one expected.
It’s not often that a foreign company decides to meddle in American politics, but Toyota has decided they want to play ball.
It seems the company once most known for reliable products and its “Oh, What of feeling” ad campaigns of years past now wants to disgust American Conservatives.
Toyota has made it clear that they do not care what a large majority of Americans think.
In what can only be described as an incredibly dumb marketing move, Toyota has decided to weigh in on the 2020 presidential election.
To be frank, Americans are sick of being attacked by domestic companies for their beliefs and they really do not have the patience to hear it from a foreign company.
Toyota recently announced that they will stop all donations to politicians who question the 2020 election results.
The company released a statement that said:
Our bipartisan PAC equally supports Democrats and Republicans running for Congress. In fact, in 2021, the vast majority of the contributions went to Democrats and Republicans who supported the certification of the 2020 election. We understand that the PAC decision to support select Members of Congress who contested the results troubled some stakeholders. We are actively listening to our stakeholders and, at this time, we have decided to stop contributing to those Members of Congress who contested the certification of certain states in the 2020 election.
It seems like Toyota could care less about the American people and would rather join woke behemoths like Coca-Cola and Delta in trying to silence anyone that doesn’t agree with their radically Left viewpoints.
One would assume this will hurt Toyota in the long run, but only time will tell.
The radical Left has already shown that you can never be “woke” enough by canceling already liberal companies and celebrities even as they bow to their demands.
It’s possible a company like Toyota may soon find out that this step just isn’t enough to appease the likes of the BLM, Antifa and LGBTQ radicals that infest the modern Left.
Unfortunately, if Conservatives are finding it harder and harder to try and boycott every company that has jumped on the “woke” train as Big Government politicians in both parties continue to fuel ever-larger corporate monopolies
