It’s been more than five days since the election and there still isn’t a clear winner in the Presidential race.
After close finishes in several battleground states, the results are going to be contested in court.
And Americans couldn’t believe this swing state Democrat actually admitted the vote was rigged against President Trump.
The day before the election, Pennsylvania Democrat Attorney General Josh Shapiro stunned Americans when he tweeted out – before any votes were counted – that Donald Trump could not win the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
“If all the votes are added up in PA, Trump is going to lose,” Shapiro posted on social media. “That’s why he’s working overtime to subtract as many votes as possible from this process.”
“For the record, he’s 0-6 against us in court,” the Democrat added. “We’ve protected voting rights. Now, ignore the noise—vote!”
Americans had never seen anything like this before.
Shapiro’s role as Attorney General puts him in charge of enforcing election law in the state.
For him to publicly admit he appeared to have inside knowledge of the early absentee voting totals and express confidence the President could not win was simply astonishing.
The response came when State Attorney General Shapiro lashed out after the President questioned Democrats in Pennsylvania trying to extend the period to count votes for days so ballots that came in after Election Day would count.
“I think it’s terrible that we can’t know the results of an election the night of the election,” President Trump stated.
“We’re going to go in the night of, as soon as that election’s over, we’re going in with our lawyers.”
President Trump blasted Pennsylvania’s Democrat Governor for trying to buy time to scrounge up the votes necessary to overturn what could be Trump’s lead in Pennsylvania on Election Night.
“We don’t want to have Pennsylvania, where you have a political governor, a very partisan guy. … We don’t want to be in a position where he’s allowed, every day, to watch ballots come in,” the president said.
“See if we can only find 10,000 more ballots,” President Trump added.
And since the election, that’s exactly what voters have seen, as after days of counting mail-in ballots – and miraculously discovering thousands at a time in postal facilities in Philadelphia and Pittsburgh – Biden now holds a lead in the state.
It certainly casts Shapiro’s comments in a new light for him to have suggested the outcome was rigged before any votes were supposed to have been counted.
