An out of control Walmart brawl proved the old adage “Like father, like son”

The “people of Walmart” stereotype is due for an update.

Most Walmart shoppers are an interesting combination of broke college kids, suburban moms looking for a deal . . .

. . . and of course anyone else who fits into the “people of Walmart” stereotype.

And the latest wild Walmart brawl just proved the old adage “Like father, like son.”

Obnoxious and rude juvenile hellions running amok

Today’s younger generation seems to be composed of loud and crass teenagers who genuinely believe the world revolves around them.

So-called “gentle parenting” has turned these kids into wild hellions who clearly have never had a “good whooping” to set them straight.

It is shown more and more every day.

And because of bad parenting and Leftist pro-criminal policies, hardworking everyday citizens are being forced to interact with rude hoodlums who are up to no good.

It has become an almost everyday occurrence for people to head to the store after a long day at work to pick up a few items only to encounter a group of out-of-control teenagers causing trouble.

And at one Florida Walmart, police had to be called after young teens (under the age of 16) were causing a scene by riding their bikes all around the store while yelling and cursing at customers.

Police arrived and were able to get things under control.

But when the police called the dad of one delinquent child, an unexpected twist proved everything that is wrong with society.

A vine of bad fruit

It wasn’t all that long ago that if a police officer ever had to call a parent because a teen was acting out that teen knew when he got home, he would wish the cop had taken him to jail instead.

That was a time when parents used to have control over their children.

But these days, kids’ lack of control due to poor parenting is causing chaos.

And it turns out bad parenting has a generational effect.

When 34-year-old Jonah Harrington arrived to pick up his teenage son who was one of the ones causing a disturbance, he was furious.

But he wasn’t mad at his son.

Instead of putting his son in the car and driving him home for punishment, Harrington lashed out at the police officer.

Harrington even had the gall to actually shove the police officer and when other law enforcement officials got involved, he hit another one, leaving the third officer no choice but to put him in handcuffs, Fox 35 reported.

A tragic outcome caused by poor parents

What a role model for his son, no wonder the teen was acting like a thug!

It is no wonder the teen hooligans are out of control these days when their own parents are just as bad.

Police officers familiar with the incident agreed.

Sheriff Rick Staly said, “The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. We asked parents to pick up their children because they were causing trouble, but this parent chose to attack our deputies instead,” Fox 35 reported.

Harrington now faces multiple charges such as resisting arrest and three counts of battery against law enforcement.

It is a shame young kids today are not raised to act like normal functioning members of society.

But with dads like Harrington, whose violent outburst against police officers resulted in arrest, it is not a surprise his own son found himself in trouble with the law.

Unless parents begin to take control of their children this will only get worse.
