While specific ICE demographic breakdowns aren’t provided publicly, the overall DHS workforce tells the story.
Of DHS’s total workforce of approximately 199,635 employees as of the 2023 fiscal year, only 51.7% are white.
Hispanics represent 22.8% of DHS personnel and Black employees account for 16.7%.
