Backstabbing Former Trump FEC Chairman Got Caught Hiding One Ugly Secret From Texas Voters

Donald Trump trusted him to protect election integrity.

Now records expose what he was doing behind closed doors instead.

And this backstabbing former Trump FEC chairman got caught hiding another ugly secret from the Texas voters he’s running to represent.

Green energy lobbyist masquerading as MAGA warrior

Trey Trainor wants conservatives to believe he's been fighting for their values his entire career.

The former Federal Election Commission chairman appointed by President Trump is running for Congress in Texas' 21st District.

His campaign website brags he "has been on the front lines defending the Constitution, protecting election integrity, and advancing conservative principles" for more than two decades.

Trainor promises he's stayed "grounded in Texas grassroots activism" while working to "protect the voice of the people."

That's quite a sales pitch for someone who spent years lobbying for green energy scammers.

Texas Ethics Commission records reveal Trainor worked as a green energy lobbyist from 2008 through 2012.

Those dates should ring a bell for anyone who remembers the Solyndra scandal.

Obama's failed solar company grabbed $535 million in federal loan guarantees before going bankrupt and laying off 1,100 workers in 2011.

The FBI raided Solyndra's offices amid allegations the company "used inaccurate information to mislead the Department of Energy" to obtain government backing.

That's the era when Trainor was pushing green subsidies in Texas.

Documents expose four years of climate lobbying

The lobbying records show Trainor's client list reads like a renewable energy hall of shame.

Constellation Energy Group paid him to advance their green bond financing scheme for energy storage technology.

Exelon Corporation hired him while they were pushing battery storage systems powered by solar.

E.ON Climate & Renewables brought Trainor on board while building the massive Roscoe Wind Farm in Texas, one of the world's largest wind facilities pushing unreliable wind power.

E.ON openly advertised their mission to force America into a "low-carbon future" through energy storage schemes.

Translation: destroy American energy independence to satisfy climate alarmists.

Shell WindEnergy, Horizon Wind Energy, Iberdrola Renewables Inc., Renewable Energy Systems, and Euros Energy America all paid Trainor to push their agenda.

This wasn't some summer job or one-time mistake.

Four straight years of climate lobbying proves Trainor was all-in on the green energy grift.

FEC chairman sat silent during 2020 election theft

Trainor's green energy betrayal isn't his only problem.

Trump appointed him to chair the Federal Election Commission during the 2020 election when Democrats pulled off the biggest election fraud operation in American history.

What did Trainor do to stop it?

Nothing.

Despite running the agency responsible for election oversight, Trainor watched Democrats execute mail-in ballot schemes, ballot harvesting operations, and voting irregularities that handed Joe Biden the White House.

Trainor talked tough after the fact, telling Newsmax "I do believe that there is voter fraud taking place" in key states.

But he was the one person with actual authority to investigate and prevent the steal.

The FEC sat idle while Trump fought alone against a rigged system.

Now Trainor wants a seat in Congress by pretending he's always been Trump's biggest supporter.

Trump hasn't endorsed anyone in this race, and these revelations show why.

Texas conservatives deserve actual MAGA candidates

Trainor's record proves he was happy cashing checks from renewable energy companies trying to destroy the oil and gas industry that built Texas.

He talks about Trump's America First agenda now, but where was that commitment when he was lobbying for the exact solar panels and wind turbines Trump opposes?

The 21st Congressional District primary features 14 Republican candidates, including former Major League Baseball player Mark Teixeira.

Teixeira has endorsements from eight sitting members of Congress and campaigns on supporting Trump's policies without baggage.

Conservative voters have better options than someone whose lobbying career contradicts everything he claims to believe.

You can't be a MAGA Republican while spending four years advancing the climate change policies Trump has fought his entire presidency.

The primary is March 3, 2026.

Texas Republicans deserve representatives who've consistently defended conservative values, not lawyers who spent years helping renewable energy grifters while claiming to be grassroots activists.

Trainor's green energy past and 2020 failure show he can't be trusted.
