Biden and Harris just got one nasty surprise that would make anyone blush

Barack Obama just delivered a humiliating blow to Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.

The Democrat Party's 2024 power couple thought they'd coast into elder statesman status.

But Biden and Harris got one nasty surprise that would make anyone blush.

Joe Biden made history in 2020 when he received more votes than any presidential candidate in American history — albeit with giant asterisks due to the pandemic voting systems ushered in through COVID hysterics.

Of course, it’s the Electoral College vote total that matters in our Constitutional republic.

Nevertheless, Biden’s 81,283,501 notches in the popular vote count beats even Barack Obama's 2008 record.¹

The media elites declared during Biden’s tenure that this singular achievement earned Biden and his running mate Kamala Harris a place of honor in American politics that put them above any questions about their governance.

Among Democrat Party supporters this was gospel.

And yet in the elections this year, they've become political kryptonite that every Democrat candidate is running from as fast as possible.

It’s like they’re all admitting Biden’s 2020 popular vote total was total fugazi.

Obama leads Democrats in shunning Biden-Harris

The 2025 election cycle features major races in Virginia, New Jersey, and New York City that could signal the direction of American politics heading into the 2026 Midterms.

Barack Obama swooped in to endorse New Jersey gubernatorial candidate Rep. Mikie Sherrill and Virginia candidate Abigail Spanberger with slick video endorsements in October.²

Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro, former Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg, and Hillary Clinton all showed up at campaign events and fundraisers to rally support for Democrat candidates.²

Biden? He hasn't made a single public endorsement for any 2025 candidate.³

Harris at least offered some lukewarm support for socialist New York City mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani, telling MSNBC "he's the Democratic nominee, and he should be supported."⁴

But she hasn't cut endorsement videos, joined rallies, or done any of the real campaign work her former colleagues are putting in.

The message Democrats are sending couldn't be clearer — the Biden-Harris brand is poison and nobody wants to be anywhere near it.

That should have been obvious when they were still early into their time in the White House.

Historic collapse tells the real story

The numbers explain why Democrats are treating Biden and Harris like radioactive waste.

The Democrat Party's favorability rating crashed to just 28% according to CNN polling — the lowest mark in the entire 30-year history of CNN's tracking.⁵

That's not a rough patch. That's a catastrophic collapse.

Biden's approval rating bottomed out at 36% before he dropped out of the race, the lowest of his presidency.⁶

Harris fared even worse with approval ratings underwater by 26 points — 58.1% disapproving compared to just 32.1% favorable.⁷

Former chief counsel to House Judiciary Committee Democrats Julian Epstein admitted what every Democrat knows but few will say out loud.

"The one thing you could probably get progressives and moderates inside the Democratic Party to agree on is that the Biden/Harris administration did not score very high marks," Epstein told Fox News Digital.⁸

That's Washington speak for "these people destroyed our brand and we're still cleaning up the mess."

Republicans smell blood in the water

Republican candidates aren't letting Democrats forget who created this disaster.

"Of course Democrats are running away from the disasters they created with Joe Biden and Kamala Harris," U.S. Representative Andy Barr, who's running for Senate in Kentucky, told Fox News Digital.⁹

"It will take years to undo the damage they inflicted on our economy, our border, and our national security," Barr continued. "Every Democrat on the ballot owns that record."⁹

Former Trump official Morgan Murphy, now running for U.S. Senate in Alabama, put it even more bluntly.

"Joe Biden and Kamala Harris were never more than 2D media props, employed to disguise how radical Democrats have become," Murphy told Fox News Digital.¹⁰

Murphy argued that "soft socialists" running in places like New Jersey and Virginia are "dressing up as moderates" because they know Biden and Harris are "too toxic for voters."¹⁰

Conservative podcast host Brilyn Hollyhand delivered the knockout punch about why Biden and Harris have become untouchable.

"The Democrat party is a sinking ship of a party and they'll be the Titanic at the bottom of the ocean come the midterms," Hollyhand told Fox News Digital.¹¹

"They have no leader and no bench," Hollyhand added. "Anybody running wants to stay as far away from claiming to be a Democrat as possible — it's kryptonite."¹¹

The elite consensus nobody will admit

Here's what makes this situation especially brutal for Biden and Harris — even the Democrat establishment turned on them when it counted most.

When Biden finally dropped out of the 2024 race, the party's power brokers weren't exactly lining up to help Harris take his place.

Obama waited five full days before endorsing Harris, initially telling her to "earn it" rather than offering immediate support.¹²

California Governor Gavin Newsom told Harris he was "hiking" and would "call back" when she reached out for an endorsement after Biden's exit.¹³

He never did.

Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro, now stumping for Spanberger in Virginia, made clear he wanted a "co-presidency" if Harris picked him as her running mate — translation: he didn't trust her judgment enough to be number two.¹⁴

Democrats spent months lying to the American people as party bigwigs dithered over whether they should push Biden out of the race because his mental decline became impossible to hide after the June 2024 debate disaster.

Then they held their noses and rallied around Harris because they had no choice with just 107 days until Election Day.

Now that the election is over and Trump is back in the White House, Democrats have decided both Biden and Harris are too damaged to help anyone win anything.

Biden currently battles an aggressive form of prostate cancer that has metastasized to his bones, which he revealed in May.¹⁵

That health crisis makes his absence from the campaign trail more understandable.

But there's no medical excuse for Harris, who's out promoting her memoir "107 Days" instead of helping Democrats try to win races that matter.¹⁶

The brutal reality Democrats face is that the Biden-Harris administration's failures on inflation, the border, and foreign policy created a toxic brand that poisons anyone who gets too close.

Obama, Shapiro, Clinton, and the rest of the Democrat A-team know this instinctively.

That's why they're working overtime to help candidates in Virginia, New Jersey, and New York City while treating Biden and Harris like they don't exist.

The man who supposedly got more votes than anyone in American history can't get a single candidate to want his endorsement.

That's not just political death — it's complete irrelevance.
