Most of the mainstream media has blindly promoted Big Pharma’s COVID windfalls and refused to ask tough questions about the Food and Drug Administration’s shady decisions.
But those days may be over.
And Biden FDA officials are sweating bullets after one reporter noticed this key document vanished.
The Food and Drug Administration is completely out of hand.
That was proven when FDA officials recently approved a new Moderna vaccine without even bothering to consult its own experts.
Of course, that’s the kind of thing federal bureaucrats expect to get away with at a time when Joe Biden has been buying enough experimental drugs for the United State’s entire population before the FDA even gets their hands on safety data.
But apparently getting questioned by a reporter flustered the COVID regime so much that a 30-page document magically disappeared overnight.
Naturally, Conservative lawmakers were outraged.
“The coincidental removal of the approval documents for the Moderna vaccine is another massive blow to the credibility of the FDA, and I call on the agency to release this document immediately,” Republican Representative Byron Donalds, a member of the House Oversight Committee, told The Epoch Times in an email.
A reporter from The Epoch Times started the whole dustup by asking questions about the “Summary Basis for Regulatory Action.”
Apparently, the agency couldn’t take the heat from a news organization actually doing it’s job (no doubt a novel experience in these dark days).
After The Epoch Times sent questions about “critical portions of the document, it disappeared from the agency’s website,” The news organization wrote. “It popped back up after multiple emails and phone calls from The Epoch Times” according to their report.
The FDA has refused to explain exactly what kind of game they’re trying to play by putting information out for the “public” then making it vanish the moment anyone looks into what’s really going on.
Part of their reluctance might stem from the fact that the new document includes the highest government estimate to date for the number of people likely to experience heart inflammation from taking the experimental drug.
It seems likely they stuck the information on their website hoping it would be like those side effect warnings in small print in magazine pharmaceutical ads which are carefully designed to protect companies for legal purposes, but so difficult to read very few people ever bother.
A quick skimming of the document reveals exactly what you’d expect—just enough risk acknowledged to keep researchers out of trouble when things go south, but their final decision is that it’s worth making Moderna executives even richer.
Oh, and it notes that we should find out if those kids’ hearts still work five years from now, you know, just in case.
The disappearing documents probably had the opposite effect from what FDA paper pushers were hoping for—journalists are more interested now than before and The Epoch Times has filed a Freedom Of Information Act request for the several analyses referenced in the 30-page document.
After all, where there’s smoke there might just be fire.
