Leftist priorities are so far out of whack, they don’t even have the capacity to choose a judge based on solid principles.
That means the questioning of Joe Biden’s Supreme Court nominee has turned into a side show.
But one thing is clear—she’s willing to abandon the Constitution for one gruesome cause.
At this point, Ketanji Brown Jackson is practically a shoo-in to take the place of retiring Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer.
Senator Joe Manchin, the Democrat holdout who derailed Joe Biden’s biggest spending plan, has promised to vote to confirm Biden’s pick for the top court vacancy.
Jackson is the “woke” pick you’d expect as Joe Biden aims to please radical leftists as he appoints the first black female judge to the Supreme Court.
No doubt, he had to pick through a pile of perfectly qualified candidates to land on one extreme enough to suit his purposes.
Jackson has publicly praised controversial 1619 Project creator Nikole Hannah-Jones and refuses to explain the difference between a man and a woman because she’s “not a biologist.”
But her most destructive stance may be her commitment to allow the ongoing killing of unborn babies.
She’s all for suppressing free speech—especially for Christians.
Back in 2001 she fought to create “buffer zones” around abortion providers to keep peaceful pro-life protestors far away from the young, vulnerable women walking into a viper’s den of pro-death advocates.
At the same time, while working for retiring Justice Breyer, she helped defend the horrific atrocity of partial birth abortions.
The New York Times described the process explaining that the baby is “partly extracted from the birth canal, feet first, and the brain is then suctioned out.”
Even Joe Biden couldn’t stomach that and as a Senator voted in favor of banning the method.
While the issues are dead serious, considering that Supreme Court justices are in effect American lawmakers – and the only ones appointed for life – leftists are busy smearing Republican Senators’ cross examination of Jackson as tantamount to racism.
According to an article by feminist website Refinery 29 , the lines of questioning lawmakers have followed in the confirmation hearings are “deeply personal.”
“Why else would Judge Jackson be asked to define the term “woman” or to to divulge the idiosyncrasies of her religious faith?”, Brea Baker wrote. “Arguably, none of this has or will come up in her work as a justice. Judge Jackson, as she skillfully stated during the hearings, is not a biologist, and there is no religious test in the Constitution.”
In fact, leftists have turned everything “deeply personal” into a matter of policy.
Jackson was asked how to define a woman because conservative lawmakers know leftists are now constantly launching witch hunts to go after anyone who questions someone’s personal “identity” claims.
Furthermore, Amy Coney Barrett also faced plenty of scrutiny over her Catholic faith.
As far as sticking to the issues goes, Jackson’s confirmation hearing has been downright civil and tame compared to the character assassination Democrats performed when Brett Kavanaugh was raked over the coals for fabricated high school crimes—including false claims he was involved in a gang rape.
With a gang of RINOs including Senators Lindsey Graham and Mitt Romney in the U.S. Senate, Conservatives’ only hope could be that Donald Trump’s Supreme Court picks will be able to hold their own against Biden’s injection of a radical new even more “woke” justice on the Court.
