Former President Bill Clinton has returned to the regularly scheduled programming on cable television that is bashing Trump.
But viewers were stunned after Clinton let a questionable wish slip out on camera.
And Bill Clinton just shared one fantasy he hopes will happen on Donald Trump’s death bed.
Clinton fantasizes about Trump deathbed conversion
CBS late night talk show host Stephen Colbert is still reeling over the Supreme Court’s Presidential immunity decision that reaffirmed the Constitution.
The ruling, which stated that the President cannot be sued in court over official acts taken in office, was the final nail in the Democrat lawfare’s coffin designed to tank Trump’s chances to return to office.
Jack Smith’s January 6 political persecution case was the most anticipated of the bunch by Democrats since Trump had no chance of receiving a fair trial in the radically liberal enclave that is Washington, D.C.
Those hopes were crushed by the Supreme Court decision.
During a recent, post-election interview with former President Bill Clinton, Colbert did not hesitate to share his woes over the ruling.
“The Supreme Court, since you left, has said that the president enjoys broad immunity for his actions,” started Colbert. “If you had known that when you were in office, is there anything you would have changed?”
Clinton, along with virtually every other leftist out there, refuses to understand the point of this ruling, while claiming that the Court must overturn their decision.
“Let me just say that opinion, in my opinion, should be repealed or drastically confined,” continued Clinton.
Clinton then publicly shared the depth of his own ignorance when he pretended that this decision was made solely for President Trump.
He did this by claiming that the Supreme Court would rescind their immunity decision once the next President following Trump was set to take office.
“And if you want it changed, you probably just have to elect somebody else in the next election and the Supreme Court will change it so fast it’ll make your head swing,” seethed the former President.
Protecting the Office of the President
But the real reason the Supreme Court decided the way they did was to protect the Office of the President.
If Presidents could be sued personally in court over decisions that they made in office, then former President Barack Obama would be subject to charges for capital murder for the time he killed an American citizen with a drone strike.
“I’m pretty sure that if something really grievous happened, the Supreme Court would make a different distinction,” added Clinton. “Otherwise our Constitution has essentially been suspended and we wouldn’t have the rule of law.”
That is when Bill Clinton let his dirty secret slip – he stated that he was hoping that when Trump is laying on his deathbed, he would resent his past decisions by demanding that the Supreme Court overturn their decision on Presidential immunity.
“You know, I was raised in the Baptist church, and I believe in deathbed conversions, so I still think, you know, President Trump could be like Paul on the road to Tarsus [sic],” Clinton shared in an extremely awkward moment. “And think how wonderful that would be.”
Clinton’s conversation with Colbert is more evidence that the 2024 Presidential election has broken the minds of the far Left, and the Democrat Party has no clue where to go, or what to do next.
