Billy Graham’s granddaughter just shocked the world with this one damning confession

Billy Graham left a legacy that promoted the importance of family values, but his granddaughter is indicating that she believes something else is more important to her.

Billy Graham holds a valuable role in history by becoming one of the most influential religious leaders in all of history.

His son, Franklin Graham, has taken up the mantle in order to promote his father’s beloved message.

But Billy Graham’s granddaughter just shocked the world with this one damning confession.

Billy Graham’s granddaughter steers away from family image

The late and great Reverend Billy Graham passed away at 99 years of age in 2018.

He left a legacy as being the most famous and influential evangelist the world has ever seen.

Throughout his life, Graham managed to share his message with more than 200 million people in a wide variety of countries, while serving as the pastor to 12 different Presidents.

Billy Graham had preached that “no subject is closer to my heart than the family.”

Franklin Graham is one of Billy’s five children, and had taken over his father’s role after his passing to become the next most renown preacher in the world.

But one of Billy Graham’s family members has made it clear that she does not stand next to her uncle, Franklin, on the issue of politics.

Billy Graham’s granddaughter has an unfortunate track record

The Western Journal recently published a report talking about how Billy Graham’s granddaughter is breaking away from the family tradition.

According to the Journal, “Rev. Franklin Graham, fresh off helping the survivors of Hurricane Helene where FEMA did not, is offering prayers for GOP nominee Donald Trump. His granddaughter, meanwhile, is writing opinion pieces in favor of Kamala Harris.”

The report had focused on how Billy Graham’s granddaughter, named Jerushah Duford, had written an op-ed for Newsweek where she had made a scathing endorsement in the upcoming Presidential election.

“I’m voting for Kamala Harris,” said Duford in her op-ed.

“We’re just days away from the presidential election, and most polls indicate it will be a nailbiter,” she began in her op-ed. “These are nervous times for many people, especially those who fear how they would be treated under a second Trump administration, one less beholden to norms and laws and the adults who were supposedly in the room the first time around.”

In her piece, Duford made a call for “a courageous realignment for some of my fellow evangelicals who I feel may have been led astray by the MAGA movement.”

“As someone who enjoyed the privilege of growing up around the revered minister Dr. Billy Graham–or as we grandchildren knew him, ‘Daddy Bill’—I recognize very little in former President Donald Trump of the Christian faith that has inspired my life,” Duford added.

“Both men have stars on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame, but I fear this may be the only characteristic they share,” she argued.

She then went on to slam Donald Trump for rubbing shoulders with Russian President Vladimir Putin while calling him an authoritarian.

Duford even made an effort to compare Kamala Harris and Tim Walz to her grandfather Billy Graham.

“In Vice President Kamala Harris and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, I see a commitment to service and a future built on unity and hope–values that were deeply important to my grandfather,” Duford claimed.

“Trump’s divisive rhetoric and pursuit of personal power, on the other hand, undermine the love and humility that the Gospel calls us to embody,” she added.

Billy Graham’s granddaughter argued that Kamala Harris was actually motivated by a desire to “serve” the people of America, while claiming that Donald Trump only wanted to “demonize others and divide America.”

But this is not the first time Graham’s granddaughter had made a full, public embrace of the far Left.

In 2020, Duford had written a letter to the LGBTQ+ movement offering her complete support.

While Duford has thrown her full voice behind Kamala Harris, her uncle Franklin Graham, however, is electing to lead prayers for America, as well as for Donald Trump.
